They have the worst rental department there is. I rented a snake here. It was broken. They refunded me which was cool. I rented a machine which I will never do again. There are plenty of other rental places that do a way better job with way better customer service. Let me explain: I rented a machine from them. I rented it for a week. I finished early so I called them to come pick it up. The driver shows up and leaves the machine. They never even called me to let me know. I had to call them and ask why it wasn't picked up. One, it was dirty. Two it was on a hill so he wouldn't move it down the hill. Let me emphasize this was not a hill. Less dangerous than getting it on and off the trailer. I didn't even complain about that. I said ok. I had to pressure wash it until it was spotless then drive it up the road ( which is illegal) and put it in another driveway so they could pick it up. Called them a dozen times. No one ever showed. I even gave them the new address two drives away from the original drive. Finally had to call and really complain to get a driver to pick it up. This was five days after I started calling asking for a pick up time. I had to leave this in my customers driveway promising they would be there. They never came and made me look very unprofessional. Finally someone came to get it Sunday. A day after my rental was supposed to be up. Only because I complained so much. Today they call me and tell me they're charging a cleaning fee after making me pressure wash it for 2.5 hours! I really think they're just trying to get back at me for complaining so much but it's not my fault they have horrific customer service. I posted photos to show exactly what a dirty machine is in their opinion. I will never even shop here again. If I can't get it at the supply house or Lowe's, I will buy it online. I even have a video of it in the driveway AT NIGHT because I spent so much time pressure washing it. You can even see the pressure washer in the background. The manager, of course, refuses to speak with me because they say there are no time stamps on my photos? It's an iphone. They all have time stamps on them. If that's not clean enough for them, then I don't know what is. $1600 for this aggravation. Never again. I will NOT shop at Home Depot and I rescind my Home Depot Pro status. I paid more for thier services thinking it would be better. Ordered a dishwasher to be delivered,installed and have the old one removed. I paid an additional $300 for this. The day of the delivery. Got a phone call saying they're coming and asking if the old one was uninstalled. I said no I'm sorry I didnt know that was a requirement. They said its ok they can do it. I said great - thinking- if i could uninstall one why would i require help with the new one?? When they arrived they were here for a few minutes and said I'd have to uninstall it because they couldn't get the old one out. They told me to just call and they'd come back at no extra charge. When I finally got around to doing this easy three step process and pulled the dishwasher out. Calling back was a nightmare! I couldn't connect to anyone at the store because the automated phone system is garbage and disconnected me 4x! When i finally got through to talk to someone (she was lovely and kind) but expressed its a common problem that she has to hear abt 4-5x a day!! I called the number to the delivery services - it said call back in an hour because their systems were down. Idk if anyone who matters will see this but - just realize if this poor associate get 5 people per day complaining about the phone system being unhelpful x365 days a year and 2,337 stores.. theres 4.2million upset people (keep in mind that's jsut the number of people who make it to a person and don't give up) - a loss for no reason. Read moreWent here yesterday Sunday September 2nd 2024 This place is a joke. Try to pay at the register my card was declined. Try it again my card was declined. Went to a different register try it again my card was declined. I called the bank, very concerned that perhaps maybe my debit card have been compromised. Now mind you this is a Sunday. So trying to get ahold of a bank or trying to figure out what's going on isn't always easy on a day where no one truly wants to work, and I don't blame them I wouldn't want to either.
Finally after speaking to a woman at the bank, with the 24-hour customer care. She stated, no declines have come through on your card. Your card is fine, there are no holds or anything on it. There is absolutely no restrictions, and your card has not been compromised and you have more than enough money to pay for the item that you described.
I asked if she would stay on the phone while I try it again at a 4th register. She said no problem.
Went to a fourth register, the transaction was perfect without an issue.
The other woman stated that we've been having problems with this all day and it seems to be our system. This is exactly what the woman at the bank told me because she could not see any of the transactions declining she saw absolutely nothing.
When I told the other lady that she says no it has to be your card sir.
WHAT GUESS WHAT, IT WAS NOT MY CARD......
Maybe they should put some people in there that are willing to work that at least have a IQ above room temperature.
No I truly do not like leaving bad reviews but when things go this bad they are needed... Now mind you this was all for a silly $11 item.. It wasted more of my time, then what the item was actually worth. However...
