Bad: My first time at a Sonic ever and I have a honest review to tell. Disgrace of a franchise, I put that on my dead grandma. This place is over hyped, way overpriced and needs either shut down or everybody fired and new HAPPY people working at this location. Why did I have more respect for them than they did me and my family? No excuse for the poor customer service me and my family were given.
No receipt, no goofy sauce for our fries, no double patty because I'm automatically supposed to ask for something I didn't know anything about. Their menu plays tricks on you and it's false advertising. Ridiculous we have to ask for stuff like y'all are stingy as hell. The menu stated fries came with sauce, and I'm sure I mentioned the sauce to the impatient woman. They were so dry the fries irritated our throats. We couldn't finish them. I bought a handmade shake and they give a tiny straw with it and expected me to drink it. I had to go to Sheetz and ask for one of their larger straws
Yesterday June 20, 2024 was my first time ever going to a Sonics and I was excited until I totally regret it. I took my family here to get some food. First off, the drive thru loudspeaker looks old and outdated. It was very hard to hear the woman talking through it. The woman herself was trying hard to push me along asking "is that it?" after every one item I say. Remember I have my family with me.
When handed our food and drinks the young inexperienced woman didn't say "have a good day" or tell us that was everything. These people have very poor customer service/people skills and I'm certain they only got the job by their looks or lied on their resume. The manager looks and acts like a terrible manager. He looks like the women that work there own him.
Their #4 shown a double patty on square bread at the pull in menu and online. I presumed for $19(a #4 combo large and a #4 just sandwich) would be double patty on both. I can't imagine the price with double patty. I wouldn't have bought them if I knew they were these 2cm thick overpriced single patties. Again the woman was very rude and mind boggling me trying to rush us through.
There was no line of cars behind us so they rushed us like all they wanted was our money and us gone. I get it fast food, but these people are disrespectful. My little brother complained of how tiny the $4 special quarter lb double cheeseburgers were. He got 2 of those for $6.50 and they were tiny. Why the hell would you name something so small like that? I see why y'all are falling off.
I truly hope the manager sees this as I am reporting your establishment to Sonics corporate for poor management, and a few more that I will keep secret. Not a threat, a promise. Read moreWas at this restaurant on 06/05/2020. Haven’t eaten at a sonic for at least 6 months Zach delivered my food. Ordered a #1 with only ketchup, no veggies. The receipt reflected this. I DO NOT LIKE VEGGIES. My burger arrived in great time but had veggies. I called back in to have it made correctly. They said it would be right out. As I was correcting this a car pulled up to my left (I was in stall 10). They received their order before I received mine. It was at least 10 minutes. I called back again and they apologized and said it would be right out. 5-6 minutes later it arrived. So, my wife and I left because “who messes up an order twice.” As I was eating it while driving home I almost puked. I could taste an onion on the burger. I’m very very sensitive to the taste of onions. I HATE them. I swallowed it and wrapped up 3/4 of the burger and angrily handed it to my wife and told her that I tasted an onion. I was very hungry. Later that night as she was feeding it to our dog she opened the bun and found 3 more onions on it. So, my taste buds did not fail me. They either carelessly cooked my food and messed it up for a third time in the same visit or they purposely put a few pieces of onion on my burger just to see if I would notice. Well, I nothiced! Read moreI used to eat Sonic EVERY DAY. (Used to be a manger there, so...) Now, I rarely make it there which is kind of a bummer. On my previous visit,I ordered a java chiller. I was told they no longer sell java chillers. I understand that they may be off of the menu, but I KNOW you have all of the necessary ingredients!! (Ice cream and coffee with caramel flavoring) I was a restaurant manager for 15+ years. If an item came off of or menu and a customer asked for it (and I was clearly ABLE to make it for them), then OF COURSE I would make it for them - would just be a master of how to"ring it in"/charge the guest. I was SO looking forward to my java chiller...WHAT A LET DOWN!!!
On THIS visit, I went with my other standard favorite - a super sonic breakfast burrito. It was DELICIOUS as usual. Had everything in it and it hit the spot!!
The location seemed kind of run down and looked to be VERY DIRTY. The red sidewalks/patio were black. The tan walls were black. They're was garbage strewn about everywhere. The credit card reader at the pick up window was barely hanging in and had a sign taped to it about having to bypass something... This location USED to always be clean and well maintained.
