Hi! First time caller, long time listener and sorry about the half eaten egg roll, but miso hungry! Where does one start with Classic Chinese Cuisine? Well let's start with that name. Sounds like something you'd find buried within the catacombs of the freezer isle at your local grocery store. Or maybe in the used booked section of your local Goodwill or second hand store with an inscription on the back of the cover page that reads "Merry Christmas Debbie! XOXOXO, Roger". Clearly all the XOXOXO'S are gone as Debbie has decided to part with this beautiful gift from Roger. (You ever see things like this and wonder what happened to them? Maybe they passed and the family donated the books. Or maybe Roger was tragically killed during a Ringling Bothers Circus show gone awry and Debbie has since moved on. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Poor poor Roger 🥺 )Anyways back to the food... Food was good. Egg drop soup was not too salty and was as comfortingly silky smooth as expected. General Tso was good as well. Typical sauce used I think by every restaurant for the most part. Asked for a little extra spice 🌶️ and they complied. The chicken was of better quality, not the hard stringy stuff that gets stuck in your teeth. The pork fried rice was a surprise. I had a moment of "Oh nooooos" upon opening the box. I saw no veggies, not even one and it looked like just rice and pork. And that is exactly what it was and some egg. But I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted great and I had no quarrels over the missing veggies I am accustomed to seeing. Egg Roll was an Egg Roll and cooked well. Crispy inside and out. So, for what this place is and what I wanted, it checked all the boxes. It's not amazing, It's not bad, it's not what it's not. Its as the name implies, Classic Chinese Cuisine and I'd give it 5 out of 5 lactose intolerant moo moo cows 🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄

My go to dish has always been Mongolian Beef. I'm used to beef and onions, and sometimes bamboo shoots. Their version had broccoli, carrots, cabbage, mushrooms, tasted like a stew. I asked for extra spice, which it did have a pleasant kick, but it was unlike any Mongolian Beef I've had before and I did not care for it nor would recommend. We also ordered Pad Thai, which was really sweet with zero peanuts, or peanut flavor. And Chicken Fried Rice which was also pretty so-so. Service was quick and friendly, but the dishes didn't look like the pictures online. Posting my food pics to help.

Ordered Mongolian Beef at Classic Chinese in Bridgeville, Pa. I got pieces of beef sitting in some kind of liquid surrounded by broccoli, cabbage, carrots&onion! It was horrible! I’ve had Mongolian Beef several times and it was never sitting in liquid surrounded by over cooked veggies! Never! It always fried which made it “crunchy” with just a small amount of green onions and peppers. See the difference below. No contest!

We ordered here because the reviews looked good, but the food was not good at all. Now, keep in mind my partner and I never like to leave bad reviews because we'd hate to unfairly judge a business based on one poor experience. However, with the amount we paid for the food and the deep disappointment we felt while eating, I felt like we needed to say something. I'm also a big fan of Americanized Chinese food, but this was just not it. I do want to mention that the people who run the restaurant were super nice and polite. I'm really hoping our experience was just a fluke because they seem like lovely people. Everything tastes like it was frozen and then reheated in a poorly seasoned pan (there was a strong metallic taste on the fried rice and pan fried dumplings). The hunan didn't look anything like the picture (it looked like a crispy chicken dish on the website and it was really a watery stirfry) and was flavorless outside of a vague salty/soy sauce taste. We couldn't finish the fried rice or dumplings because of the aforementioned metallic taste and the dumplings also tasted freezer burned. The general tso's chicken was okay but the bottom pieces that were sitting in the sauce had that same metallic taste to them. The crab ragoon and steamed rice were totally fine, excluding one or two ragoon that...

The rate should actually be a 0. I purchased amazing chicken lunch special with a shrimp egg roll and an additional shrimp egg roll. When i got back to work i ate the shrimp roll and was about to eat the second one but it wasnt what i ordered. I ate one piece of the amazing chicken and cut the second ppece in half. I pulled out a long black hair that was cooked into the chicken and the other half had hair in it as well. I called and the manager wasnt there. I got a call back asking if i wanted more chicken. Heck no. I went and got my money and called the health department. Not only that they had no heat in the restaurant as there was a sign on the door and it was very...
