As a frequent customer of Panera Bread, I am HIGHLY disappointed with this location. I have an account online, and I often take advantage of the "rapid pick up" option. My experience with the Washington and McMurray locations have been nothing less than satisfactory. I expected the same service from Bridgeville. Today, my fellow colleagues and I decided to order our lunch from Panera. The order was ready in a timely fashion. However, when I got back to the office, I noticed a few items missing. We had ordered two "Pick Two's," and neither of them had come with our sides. We were missing an apple and a baguette. Then I noticed there was a bread bowl missing. Now, when I placed my order online, the option to order my soup with a bread bowl was disabled. I found that strange since I've ordered bread bowls this way multiple times, so I left a note in the special comments to please include a bread bowl and add the charge to my card as necessary. I guess my request was denied. We also didn't receive any silverware with our meals. The receipt attached to my bag states "Accuracy Matters" and encourages customers to contact the store with any problems. When I called the store, I was placed on a five minute hold only to argue with a woman named Jackie. I'm not sure of her job title, but management is obviously not her strong point. She proceeded to patronize me about the online ordering process. She told me I ordered it wrong, and that if I wanted a bread bowl, I should have selected that option. She tells me this AFTER I had already told her that option was DISABLED. She was rude, unapologetic and unaccomodating. After the phone call that left me fuming, my coworker found a hunk of PLASTIC in her broccoli and cheddar soup!!!!! I didn't even feel comfortable calling back at this point. Needless to say, we're all DONE with this location. We are a small business located less then 1,000 feet from Panera, and we order from them on a weekly basis. However, we will not be bringing our business...
Read moreAs a frequent flyer to Panera bread, this was the most unpleasant experience this far. I asked the cashier/manager a hypothetical question mid checkout about how to use my current Panera card for online purchases when I no longer have my physical card itself - just the phone number associated with it (was told I had a coupon for this). She became rude after that discussion, when I was confused about why she wasn't letting me swipe my card (still said it was waiting on cashier, had already entered in my phone number). Once transaction was finally completed, she basically threw my pastries and receipts at me. After roughly 10 minutes of waiting for my meal, I peeked at the window where completed orders are placed and only saw a to go order complete. After another 5-10 minutes passed I went to go ask how much longer it would be for my meal - and noticed that the to go order that had been sitting up there waiting was mine (was given a buzzer for when order was ready, never went off, Panera employee is supposed to bring order to table when ready). I grabbed my order (after watching the manager pick up and look at my bag then walk away) and took it to my table. My boyfriends sandwich was cold but edible, but my mac n cheese was molded together in a big blob, not done and cold. The boy putting together very kindly made me fresh mac n cheese once I showed him what I had received in my bag, but placed my bowl of mac n cheese on top of a dirty plate. Never...
Read moreI’m not sure why this seems to be a constant conversation about this location, but it continues to happen each time I place an order. Once again, this evening I placed and order for takeout and as always I check to see whether the order was made correctly. As usual, the item was incorrect. This of course is not the first time it has been incorrect at this location because this actually happens every single time I place an order for any type of service at this location. Every single order, every single time is incorrect just like the one that I had tonight. The large salad that I ordered tonight, if I wouldn’t have checked, would have had no dressing. When I went back and stated to the girl working that the salad didn’t have any dressing in the box for the salad, she tossed it across the counter and said “here”. I honestly didn’t realize that it was a complete burden for me to correct the job that your paid to complete and the job was to provide the dressing for the salad. It’s extremely frustrating that every single time this has to be a conversation at this location and that it still has yet to get better. We love Panera and it burdens us to have to deal with these issues each time we visit this location. We would choose a different location, but of course this is the closest to our home and extremely convenient. The end of using this location is coming very...
