Made the trip across town on a rainy day to come hangout here for my sonās 14th bday, any other bday plans were wiped out by the weather. We loved this place when they had a location in Cooper Young, spent many of bdays and rainy days and plan ol hangout days there. Was broken hearted when they left! I mentioned to the kid at the counter that we made the hike in the rain for his bday and was a little disappointed to find they didnāt do anything special for bday kids, but oh well. When I also mentioned to the kid that we used to go to the CY location all the time he freely offered that the owners moved because they āwanted a better place to rise their kidsā. Iām more than proud to raise my kids in MIDTOWN!! š«¶š¼ I can try to understand the move for business purposes, but maybe a little courtesy training for the kid at the counter if heās going to share the owners history and purpose freely with customers. Maybe instead of better, just different?? I didnāt take offense, but certainly could have. Undecided if it was worth 20$ for 2 kids and a 20min drive to the suburbs in the pouring rain, certainly didnāt let it effect my rating for them, but it was at least a great reminder of why I love where I live. Thanks...
Read moreI have been here once before about a year ago (which now I remember why its been soo long..) and nothing really has changed except the new pinball machines. Which, I thought was a great improvement, until I find out that it is not included in the original admission. I find that absolutely ridiculous, already paying 24 dollars for one kid and adult, then you are going to charge a dollar per game for pinball? What a joke 𤣠My daughter and I were highly disappointed, we left after an hour of being there. I guess they can get away with charging this kind of money for something so mediocre since it located in Collierville. I would have given it 1 or 2 stars, but this star rating is directly from my 8 year old with a kind heart. In my option if you are already going to charge for pinball, stop charging upfront admission and just charge per game like any other arcade using a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat a fun day we had! My bestie and I took our kids to nerd alert today and for about $10 each they got to play for hours! The owner was super nice and accommodating. She set us up a little table where we could play board games while our kids played video games and we all had a blast! I cannot recommend this place enough! And what a fun little area to take your family on an outing. There's a pizza place next door, Great American Cookie company across the way as well as Barnes& Noble and lots of shopping. And at Nerd Alert after you pay for your little $10 entry fee you can come and go as you please all day! We look forward to going back...
