Made the trip across town on a rainy day to come hangout here for my son’s 14th bday, any other bday plans were wiped out by the weather. We loved this place when they had a location in Cooper Young, spent many of bdays and rainy days and plan ol hangout days there. Was broken hearted when they left! I mentioned to the kid at the counter that we made the hike in the rain for his bday and was a little disappointed to find they didn’t do anything special for bday kids, but oh well. When I also mentioned to the kid that we used to go to the CY location all the time he freely offered that the owners moved because they “wanted a better place to rise their kids”. I’m more than proud to raise my kids in MIDTOWN!! 🫶🏼 I can try to understand the move for business purposes, but maybe a little courtesy training for the kid at the counter if he’s going to share the owners history and purpose freely with customers. Maybe instead of better, just different?? I didn’t take offense, but certainly could have. Undecided if it was worth 20$ for 2 kids and a 20min drive to the suburbs in the pouring rain, certainly didn’t let it effect my rating for them, but it was at least a great reminder of why I love where I live. Thanks...
Read moreI have been here once before about a year ago (which now I remember why its been soo long..) and nothing really has changed except the new pinball machines. Which, I thought was a great improvement, until I find out that it is not included in the original admission. I find that absolutely ridiculous, already paying 24 dollars for one kid and adult, then you are going to charge a dollar per game for pinball? What a joke 🤣 My daughter and I were highly disappointed, we left after an hour of being there. I guess they can get away with charging this kind of money for something so mediocre since it located in Collierville. I would have given it 1 or 2 stars, but this star rating is directly from my 8 year old with a kind heart. In my option if you are already going to charge for pinball, stop charging upfront admission and just charge per game like any other arcade using a...
Read moreWhat a fun day we had! My bestie and I took our kids to nerd alert today and for about $10 each they got to play for hours! The owner was super nice and accommodating. She set us up a little table where we could play board games while our kids played video games and we all had a blast! I cannot recommend this place enough! And what a fun little area to take your family on an outing. There's a pizza place next door, Great American Cookie company across the way as well as Barnes& Noble and lots of shopping. And at Nerd Alert after you pay for your little $10 entry fee you can come and go as you please all day! We look forward to going back...
