Wax & Nails — Local services in Colonial Heights

This is definitely the one of the worse experiences. Do Not Go! Do Not Go! DO NOT GO!!! DO NOT GO!!!!

I requested a full set and a pedicure.

1st. I was never offered a selection of which pedicure I was wanted. I thought surely at some point they will ask. NO!!! I was given a half of a pedicure but charged full price.

2nd, I requested almond shape, yet I was told they could not do it after the fact. They informed me that they could do a square shape (that was better). I then asked for it to be rounded several times with no avail. I knew what I wanted and not to mention I NEVER wear square shapes.

My nails are bulky and uneven. I gave them several opportunities to correct my nails prior to me leaving. The man made a very little attempt to correct and or address my concerns.

The color was nice but the service and professionalism is disgusting. If your going to charge full price for a service then give full service.

I wonder would they have taken $20.00 for the service because, “that is better or I felt like that was all they were worth”.

Before you waste your money please go somewhere else. There are too many other places to patronize. Remember it’s your money. Speak with your feet. Don’t spend your money where you will not be respected or appreciated.

If I could give this salon zero stars I would. From the beginning of my experience the women that work within this salon were unwilling to listen to any of the things I wanted done with my nails, paid absolutely zero interest to detail, did not shape my nails in any way the way I had asked, did not ask my opinion once and were annoyed when I gave it and still did it all wrong, and rushed through my entire nail sitting. they literally argued with me about my nails and my dissatisfaction with them, and tried to charge me another 30$ for my nails to be shaped the way I wanted from the beginning. They ended up doing a re-coat of the polish, but even if they wouldn’t of charged me for reshaping my nails I would not have let them do it. I came home and cut and filed them myself. I will never ever go back to this place again and am beyond upset I paid them for their time...

This place is why I’m no longer going to any Asian to get my nails done. They do the bare minimum & act as if you’re being difficult when you ask for it to be done correctly. I am spending my money so I expect to leave at least liking my nails. My nails look tragic, I asked for an ombré acrylic powder set & I will share a picture of what I got. I’ve been here before & there was a girl that dipped my nails & I loved it. A man did my nails this time & he should maybe just do feet or something because the nails are not his thing. I’ve been here several times & spent hundreds of dollars. These nails look like I’m staring in a horror movie & I'm what’s killing everyone. I didn’t have time for him to fix them yesterday because I had somewhere to be, but hopefully when I go back today someone will fix them. I shouldn’t have to pay anything...
