Nori Japan — Restaurant in Colonial Heights

Today 08/12/2024 my bonus daughter accidentally left her shoes she just purchased from the mall at the counter of Nori Japan. Once realized we quickly went back to ask did they take the shoes that were left on their counter (asumming they would have placed them behind the counter like any normal worker would) and they laughed at her and said they did not have the shoes. I then went to Nori Japan to ask about her shoes being left in front of the register and the main cook and a young boy both laughed at me and said they did not have the shoes. I then went to security (who was no help at all) which led me to go back to Nori Japan again myself. Once I approached them they said “oh I have something for you” and gave my bonus daughter her shoes. I looked them dead in the face and said you just lied to my face. I opened the box and I see that they had opened the box and took the shoes out because they were placed upright in the box instead of sideway when you purchase the shoes. I was upset because they really were about to steal her shoes after they knew we accidentally left her shoes and lied to us in our face saying they did not have the shoes. I'm going to start by saying I live pretty close so I come here at least once a week. Last week I place an order for beef hibachi with fried rice, when I get home I had white rice. I called and was told they will write my name down so, next time I come they'll just give me fried rice no charge. So today I go order chicken and beef the lady asked me if I wanted fried rice I expressed to her, I was told my name would be written down to get fried rice without the up charge. At first it was 12 something , I gave her my card and noticed my receipt say 13.57. So I asked the lady why did it go up? she said because, I charged you for fried rice, Maybe we can give it to you for free next time. one how do you choose to charge me for fried rice without expressing that to me first and let me choose on what I want to pay for. Also how can you ensure you're going to give it to me for free next time,when you couldn't even honor it this time. First let’s say if I can give this place 0 stars I would then about the Customer service the old lady in the front had a attitude and then I wanted half fried rice half white rice it was too complicated for them to understand then she charges $32.67 for 2 plates and I asked her about why it was so expensive when there was a difference price on the menu and she told me to go to McDonald’s if I wanted cheaper and then I grabbed a few napkins and the guy was complaining that it was to many when it was only 4 napkins the food was cold and stale I wouldn’t recommend to eat here if we were in a apocalypse and there was no where else to eat I am HIGHLY DISGUSTED...
