I've had 4 total visits to this shop over a 2 year period. My first visit to this shop was 2 years ago. I came in to get a pedicure and full set. The young lady that did my pedicure did a great job, but she didn't do full sets so she escorted me to the husbands chair. He was friendly, offered me food and drink, as everyone in the shop was drinking a beer which I found odd. He did a terrible job with my full set. They were super thick and looked nothing like the picture I asked him for. Fast forward to a month ago. I come in for a pedicure because they're close to my home and open up earlier than some of the near by salons. The wife and another young lady are the only two working. They were both extremely pleasant, engaged in conversation, and did so well with my nails I decided to get a full set as well. The wife did a beautiful job with my full set. Great work. I decided I would keep coming back. On the 3rd visit I have a poor interaction with the husband. I arrive to the shop to get a nail fixed that I broke. The door was locked but says they're open so I call. I see the husband and wife pull up 2 minutes later. He immediately tells me upon greeting me they do not fix broken nails because they may not have the same color and tried to send me away. I immediately tell him it was done at your shop and again I need my nail fixed. He starts speaking to his wife in their native language then unlocks the door and walks into the salon leaving me outside. Did not welcome me in at all. Despite the interaction with the husband I had a great interaction with the wife yet again, so I ignored the husband and decided to come back for a 4th visit. The 4th visit was my last. I called prior to to ask for a fill in. I come in and again the wife is pleasant as always. She files down my nails and shapes them and. asks her husband to lay down my color for me while she worked on one of her regulars nails. As soon as I sit in his seat he hands me a sticky note and says you pay now. Cash only. In none of my visits have I ever had to pay prior to my services being complete. It made me uncomfortable especially when the woman next to me was not asked to pay while she was there. She was able to comfortably get her nails done and pay once done. This irritated me to my core so I didn't engage in conversation the remainder of my visit. He kept asking me if I was ok and I gave a half smile and nodded because I knew I wasn't returning due to him. I simply smiled to keep the peace. My nails were okay, better than the first time he did them, but I wouldn't say this is worth $70. To make matters worse he asks to take a picture of my nails with my phone once done. I agree. I see him tapping on my screen for a few minutes which I find strange. This man took it upon himself to not only take my picture, but open up the internet on my phone and post the picture with a 5 star rating? That's an invasion of my privacy and not at all what you asked. I immediately deleted that review and Iam now writing an honest review. From reading reviews it seems y'all commonly post fake reviews for customers, and also seems from the REAL REVIEWS the husband is the one hurting business... I know things may be difficult with y'all not having many workers but he seems to be the common denominator for why yall are losing service. You can also tell from the poor responses to these reviews they lack accountability and have zero interest in...

Would not explain why when I asked for clear polish not gel for special event they kicked me out when I asked why fingers burning in the nail cure machine and left pinkie finger burned for minutes longer than the right. I was left with horrible nail beds, no clear polish after guy removed gel and still refused regular polish which he had and I as well just in case as I needed colorless for on stage soon.
He totally did gel on his own volition despite I'd made it very clear no gel. They kept saying come back in week which is too late but then kicked me out for asking what/why happened that hands could burn in and out of machine. Then I asked if possible to be allergic to gel but it was the heat inside machine or rather the light on did this if roller possibly hit skin first? And why is machine burning my skin feeling? To which the man kept saying "okay" despite he told me he's been in Colorado 40 years. "Okay" is not the appropriate response to questions if I need to insist no machine in future or if gel because I've used those dryers before with zero reaction.
I had patience to ask again when English a problem or have him repeat if I couldn't decipher some words he said some words did not seem pronounced or enunciated if I missed words was just fine as we all have accents is no big deal usually. So it was not a language barrier as we both had patience to repeat if some word was missed. However he insisted on Gel twice at least when I had asked and they offered non gel too. I wasn't even upset but when repeated my question he and the woman kicked me out. Then I said I may be upset as was thinking I could give them business in future, I'm not my first time at a salon and my nails are the worst ever condition for nails says a lot at my experience for many years visits in salons. But they bamboozeled me, or tried to as of this was all my doing (if first time at a salon U may have thought allergic. I am not as have had gel before), as they wanted instead of mere anicure with regular clear polish and refused the pedicure. She wanted to protect her business by refusing to use regular clear polish after I'd stopped allowing the man to use the gel. That is what he tried despite both people were told regular clear polish. Very sorry but this was th worst visit to any salon I've ever experienced for something I could have done myself with maybe minor blemishes but wanted professional job so no blemish. Instead my nail beds need time to heal. And I've had others manage cuticle removing if...

When we arrived there was some language barriers between us and the staff. Luckily one of the staff members spoke English perfectly well and translated. I asked for a gel manicure which they said would be $35, this is more the I usually spend but Iām on vacation and a pedicure which would be $25. I thought perfect Iāll do both! The manicure consisted of very little effort by the lady doing my nails. The pedicure was even worse. She soaked my feet, did not clip my nails, barely filed them(they are not even). She scrubbed them with a bush and soap. Did not do any callus removal. She applied lotion to my legs but not my feet. The pedicure was completed the in not even 20 mins. She then handed me a slip that said $80. I told her that I was told it would be a total of $60. They argued that they did not tell me $60 (my sister was there and heard the same as me). When I asked why they did not have the prices posted they stated they just remolded and did not put the signs up yet. I believe they donāt have prices listed so they can scam customers after the services are preformed. One of the most disturbing things my sister and I noticed was out of the 7 customers in the nail salon the only people the staff requested payment from before the services were rendered were the three Spanish ladies and the one African American woman. My sister, myself and the other Caucasian customers paid after. My niece had her nails painted by a boy that was 15 years old (I do not believe he was licensed, my sister was told he was an apprentice) he also did my sisters manicure. He nipped my sisters cuticles 4 time which caused bleeding. When I asked why they did not have the prices posted they stated they just remolded.
