This place is probably good for people who haven't eaten good Indian Curry. Ok.. I mean I lived in the UK 🇬🇧 for 14 years. Indian Curry has been the best dish on and off for many years. I just think the curry here was lacking depth (very boring display) and the flavors just not hitting a traditional curry. I guess this is just an overpriced simple curry restaurant. For example, I am expecting my Papadams to come with a chutney of some sort, mint sauce and onion salad. No... just the fried papadams. The naan bread lacked any flavor. Even the sweet naan (Peshwari) wasn't sweet and loaded with stale nuts. They don't make this bread fresh either. The Currys not garnished with anything (no cream or any hint of anything in the sauce). I liked the art on the wall. Will I go back....hard no.

Highly Recommended Option: During my fall break trip to Colorado Springs, we dined at “Mirch Masala,” an Indian restaurant located at 5047 N Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80918. The atmosphere was delightful, adorned with captivating artwork that showcased various elements from India, including sports, famous places, and more. The cuisine was exceptional, easily deserving a 4 out of 5-star rating. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable. Additionally, the restroom facilities were impeccably maintained, enhancing the overall experience. I also had the privilege of obtaining consent from one of the staff members, whom I believe to be the owner, to capture some memorable photographs.

3.5 stars. I ordered a garlic naan, mixed veggie curry, chicken jalfrezi and chicken biryani. Quantities are decent. Food is ok. The curry of the mixed vegetable and the jalfrezi tasted more or less the same. The garlic naan was decent sized but I would've liked more garlic and butter on it. It was a little dry. The biryani was nice at the time of eating but two days later, instead of getting better in taste as the spices have continued to marinate, it's gotten a little dry. Still better than biryani down here in Pueblo. So overall, not too bad but not mind blown either.

Just terrible experiences lately! I have been terribly disappointed in the service here my last 2 take-out experiences. I was a very regular and loyal customer but this will be changing. As much as I appreciate the authentic food and native people working the restaurant, The last 2 times I've called to order the person answering the phone and taking orders spoke such poor English that the order was frequently repeated incorrectly or any questions not answered properly. Also, perhaps these employees are new, because when I would request a modified dish (that had been served numerous times in the past) the employee argued with the that the dish wasn't on the menu. It took many requests for a more experienced person before my order was taken. Tonight's order then was even worse: the much longer than necessary phone call was completed at 5:08 pm. The person said our order would take 20 minutes. So we arrived to pick it up at about 5:25 and paid for the meal. We did not leave the restaurant with out order until 5:50 pm!! We tried to complain to management but were told there would not be a manger until 9 pm. No consolation or apologies were attempted. Add to that, when we got home (less than 10 minutes away) the dishes were lukewarm and the naan was very flat and burnt on the bottom. Also, we requested the dishes 'hot' and there was barely any spice at all! The whole experience was so frustrating that we actually drove back at 9 pm to talk to the manager, who it turns out was not there, and we were then told was apparently in Nepal. Whether we were lied to first or second, I'm not sure, but either way this is extremely poor customer service and not one I would care to repeat. The only reason I don't give this one star is because once the dishes were warmed up, they still tasted very good. Despite liking the flavor, I do not think I will give this place our money again, since they don't seem to care about their customers or their basic...

Owner reacted so abusive using many expletives when the customer reasonably complained about the highly low substandard food and asking about no paneer in the advertised saag paneer. After bullying and yelling at the lady customer, he (a short-height ill-tempered ill-mannered stupid foreign country owner of the place) was overreacted and shouted with " do whatever you can do" . Unfortunately we were left with no other choice except discussing these serious issues to file a police complaint/litigation, even we were not given a chance to pay since he immediately reacted with using strong *F..... words. As a matter of fact, the customer has full right to be heard, however this restaurant completely fools us by selling stinky food and destroying the label of INDIA for his own petty profit. How disgusting he is....please never ever go there and just help us file a report in the food inspection department, if you occurred to the same common experience ! SHAMEFUL ACT , WORTH...

First of all, they are utilizing INDIAN name, when they are not even INDIAN, and spoiling it. Secondly I Wish there could be something less than 1 and I would have given it to this restaurant, The advertisement of $8.99 Buffet is mis-leading, as it doesn't tell you days of week, and timing, And it came $17.27 per person for us.

Me and wife went for Buffet dinner on Saturday , and the food was terrible and Customer service was pathetic. There was no paneer in "Saag Paneer" . and other food was tasting very substandard. There were lumps of rice and it was cold. The chicken was too dry to eat.

When we complaint it to the manager, he showed attitude and said others are good with the same kind of food. and its our tsatebud, How can my taste bud responsible for NO PANEER in SAAG PANEER and dry chicken and lumps in rice.

When I said I won't pay, he said its upto me, anyways, I paid for the dinner, but it was total waste of time. Please avoid going...
