Honestly I hate writing bad reviews but I’m so disappointed. I heard so many good things and was left almost in tears. I walked in no appointment and they said they could take me and they did which I was grateful for. I asked twice for gel and they kept telling me to pick a nail polish and when I asked for gel again they ignored me. I got a Pedi and have strawberry skin and was asked several times “what was wrong with my skin” nothing is wrong with it I’m just pale and white. But the message at the end was so good it was almost worth it. But the mani is where it all went wrong. As I’m walking to the chair he kept saying “how big of a women you are” which was just odd but kept saying it, I had acrylic on and didn’t even try to take them off just left me seating in acetone for an hour and a half and we didn’t get to painting my nails until the two hour mark. When painting my nails another man came along and laughed at my choice and questioned why I didn’t get gel even though that was I originally asked for. Finally we get done and he puts me under the dryers for another 45 mins of me sitting there. When they were already dry for how long I was sitting I started putting on my shoes and then he got mad that I was rushing him by putting my shoes on. After all of that I paid $80 which fine okay but then all my polish came off within two hours. I’m just so upset by the whole experience would only go back...

Updated to respond to owner: This was my first design request with the gold, it is not something I normally do. I usually get a gel French manicure with clear base. And it normally takes about 75 minutes because my nails are so short and my fingers are a crooked. I love coming to Ruby! I'm sorry I made it hard for her today. I kept asking if it was taking too long and I offered repeatedly that we didn't need to do the gold if she had other customers. She assured me it was fine and she had the time. I don't really understand why you couldn't have just told me the truth and let me know about the extra charge upfront. I love coming to Ruby but I don't want her in trouble for doing a very good careful job!

Ruby is amazing!!!♥️ She deserves 5+++ stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ She is so careful and my nails last a long time! 🥰 But don't let it go more than 1 hour including design work. For the FIRST time they charged me 15 extra for the 30 minutes past 1 hour PLUS the regular upcharge for a little bit of gold decorations.😔😔😔 Not Ruby's fault! Sorry it's long but this was by far the worst place I've ever gone to get my nails done. I went to Sassy's Nails because it was Sunday and my usual place was closed but man I should have waited. The lady who did my nails was terrible! It was so uneven and the nail tip didn't even cover my whole nail. And within a week they were already lifting. And now my thumb part near my cuticle is looking white and coming up so I hope it's not infected. Definitely not a good place to go!! And I went back and asked her if she could fix them because they were so bad and she filed off the part that started lifting and said if they break to go in and they'll fix them for free but I don't want to take that chance unless maybe someone else offered to do it and even then who knows. She should have offered to take them all off and have someone who knows what their doing re do them for me. And I got a pedicure and even tipped them good. This is the worst place ever and I will definitely not be coming back. I wasn't even going to write a review but I wanted to warn others because when I originally looked them up the stars and reviews weren't that bad but...
