Hi. We are from Costa Rica, and we were on a family vacation for a few days in Colorado. This review is being submitted several months after the facts, but we just HAD to leave a great big THANK YOU to everyone at the store. We are not exaggerating: this store has shown us the one of the best customer service examples that we have ever experienced. Even the store manager got involved, and they made sure they solved our situation. Five stars for service! If you want to know the details, please read on. Ok, so last January 2023, we visited this Columbia store in Colorado Springs to purchase some fleece jackets. Since we had made a big online purchase three weeks before (some snow jackets and other winter accessories that were sent to our hotel to have them ready for our arrival to the cold weather), we intended to use the 3x points that we had gained before we had to fly back to Costa Rica. However, once we chose the fleece jackets, it turns out that the system on the cashierās side did not show our loyalty points (which added up to a significant amount of money). We showed the cashier the Email that credited the points, and we proved that if we logged in on our account on our phone, we indeed had the points ready to be used. The personnel at the store were very nice, but when they called a Columbia service number, they were advised to wait until the next day to see if the points showed up. The kind staff kept our fleece jackets for us, and we returned the next day (our last day in Colorado Springs), but the system on the cahierās end still did not show the points. If we could not use the points that day, we were going to lose them because there are no Columbia stores in Costa Rica where we can use them, and we canāt buy anything online to be shipped to Costa Rica due to the international shipping costs. The store manager came into action and called several internal support numbers explaining the issue, totally supporting our right to use up the points we had earned. The system finally never worked, but he locally found a way for us to exercise our right as customers, because it was the right thing to do. We promised we would write a good review as a thank you for all their support⦠so here we are. A bit late, but still just as thankful as the first day....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was so excited to hear we had a Columbia Store in the springs, thought I'd check it out. I walked in right behind an older gentleman with my husband. Now i work in retail and understand greeting EVERY customer. The male associate, older, not sure his name, maybe Andrew, anyhow, he didnt acknowledge my nor my husband's presence. NOT one of their employees asked us if we needed help nor mentioned any promos they had. We only knew because we over heard. Their staff is not only rude, but they came off as a little and slightly rasist. As a a Huspanic eomanit was a little rude, but i know yhe other location in Castle Rock is way better and they are always so nice when i visit. My experience their is always a great one. However my experience here was not so great and wont be returning, but im sure this location...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreChristmas morning my wife tried on her Columbia slippers but they unfortunately didnāt fit.
During the craziness of Christmas morning, we must have lost the gift receipt.
My wife took her slippers back to Columbia but due to Columbia policy, they would only be able to refund $3.00.
That was the bad, Andrew at Columbia could have brushed it off and left it at that. Instead he and others at Columbia at asked more questions, what date did I purchase them and do I possibly have an amount from the charge on my credit card?
They were able to use that information to find the purchase to reprint the receipt.
Did I mention they did this on the 26th of December during the biggest return date of the year? š³
Thank you Andrew, Unique and the rest of the staff for going above and...
