Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

My sister and I are regulars at the Briargate location and have been on a carmel apple binge for about 3 months or more recently. My sister got me a carmel apple for my birthday and when I cut into it the center was definitely bad. We don't get them cut when we purchase so we can keep the apple fresher longer. I was very disappointed that the apple was bad, so I cut away the bad part and was left with only a small amount of apple. Didn't cut any more of the apple and decided to return the apple for a better one. This was the 2nd apple in about a 3 week time frame and can totally understand that this can happen every once in a while. Was not able to get there for a few days and when I gave the bag to the employee she said it was because I didn't eat it right away and the apple was old. That is not the case at all, quite frequently I can eat the apple over several days and only have to shave off a little where the apple was cut. I was so disappointed how this employee treated me and at first was just not going to shop there in the future. Then I thought why should that be the result when I enjoy RM Chocolate Factory chocolates and their apples. I will not purchase from this employee and will have my apples cut in half in the future. Love the chocolate! The customer service horrible!!! I called in advance to place an order over the phone the young lady responded very rude. Once I got to the location she was getting ready to close she gave me an attitude and was very nasty at me and to top it all off, when I asked her to cut my apple she slammed the bag on the counter and continue to cut the apple with an attitude.
