I'm a huge fan of qdoba, however this location today had such a rude staff and poor food quality. As my husband and I were ordering, a woman who identified herself as the cook came in the middle of the gentleman preparing our meal to make a meal for a phone in order. She kept rolling her eyes and made comments about how put off she was to be making the order for the phone on customer as they wanted it "ready in 5 minutes". Our food was done being made and we went to pay. She gathered all the food by the register but left my item in the line behind another customer's order. As she was trying to put in all the food and listing everything, I mentioned my item in the line, she ignored me the first time I said it so I mentioned it again and she abruptly told me "ma'am I know it's there...fine let me bring it over" and she snatched a pan hastily (we were dining in) and threw my item in it. We sat down with our kids to eat and by the 3rd bite I could not eat anymore as there was a huge clump of salt in my rice. I waited back in line to let them know about the salt. The young kid at the beginning of the line then says, with such bad attitude "well what do you want me to do about it". Then he asked if I wanted a new item. I told him that was exactly what wanted. I was just taken aback about how rude these 2 were and why they choose to work in a place that 1. Takes orders over the phone if in fact they don't want to fulfill their job duties and make it. I get it may be frustrating, but leave that away from the customers in front of you. And 2. Where sometimes there may be an issue with food quality (it happens), and instead of being positive and apologetic, or just plain polite, the person decides to try and escalate the customer. I'm not that type to get overly angry or escalate things over a food item, but there are plenty of those people out there, and I think this kid was lucky that he didn't meet that kind of person today. After we ot home, my son went to finish his nachos, as he only had a couple bites in the establishment, and he too had clumps of salt in his food. A mistake with food quality is forgiveable and I can easily get over that, but a rude staff that doesn't even want the business or care about the customer will solidify why i will never go back to that location, nor would I let my friends make that mistake. I would give 0 stars if I could and I hope they retrain their staff or find other people...
Read moreI only gave this location 3 stars because the food and service has always been good until my experience on July 2nd. The office I work at decided lunch would be a good morale boost after a busy morning and I was sent with a list of orders to place in the restaurant and bring back. The restaurant was busy, but moving with good pace and I was not in a rush to get my order. When I stepped up to the counter, I greeted the bright red haired team member politely and prefaced my order with the fact that there will be 5 entrees to my order. I was questioned why I didn’t order on the app to which I replied they had just made the decision and sent me, not mentioning the fact that I was lent the company card and it was easier to order in person to use it. I also felt that the comment was unnecessary being that had I brought my 5 person family she likely would not have said it and now that I was in line and a face-to-face customer her pointed question served no purpose but to berate a customer. I could hesitantly ignore that treatment during a mildly busy lunch, except that she followed it up by pointedly telling me I’ll have to wait because “this online order also has 5 entrees and it will be quicker than you ordering”, not that I would mind waiting as I still was in no rush. As she was coming back from starting each of the online order entrees she had to add “it really is easier to order on the app” as I was patiently waiting. I placed my order which she mostly made right except at the last bowl, it seemed like she was done dealing with me as she immediately poured in the wrong beans. The food was enjoyed by the office all around, though that employee definitely gave me a sour story to tell to my coworkers. No matter how busy or how hard of a day you’re having, I hope you at least can restrain yourself enough to not take it out on...

So I decide on just some queso and chips and I stand in line for, it seems like my entire existence, until i can't hold my composure any longer and i end up going to the bathroom. When I left, there were 2 ladies in front of me, when I got back in line, there were the same 2 ladies still there and have not ordered YET. The place was basically dead with about 6 workers, that I counted, in the store and the person responsible for the initial customer contact is steady busy filling the remaining either online or call-ahead orders, that he is also responsible for, thus making all 3 of us wait until he was done. Proper customer service AND logical order of duties kinds of training are HIGHLY necessary to ensure a more positive, consumer experience to...
