Omelets Etc. has 4 locations in Colorado Springs, Colorado, which we visited the Academy Blvd location. This location is in a strip mall and the restaurant space in a space of concrete floors, with high ceilings and no decor. Expect quite a bit of noise if the tables are filled. The front desk was quick to acknowledge our arrival and gave us a choice of tables. Overall, the service was good from beginning to end, and all the staff seemed very friendly to all the customers. We ordered both breakfast and lunch entrees, the outstanding plate was the breakfast burrito. The Senior breakfast was nice portion, but I found the two sandwich plates to be prepared nicely, but lacking in overall ingredients to make a fulfilling sandwich. The one aspect of the restaurant environment that was very troublesome was the number of flies that were present around our corner booth, which could have been due to the hot Colorado weather at this time of the year. Overall, the food was still good for breakfast or lunch, and I would try this restaurant again, but probably in another location. Tips for your visit: Large menu, but breakfast entrees seem to be a better option for most of the tables on our visit.

We popped in for a quick breakfast near the airport and we're not disappointed! The location seems a bit sketchy at first, as does the restaurant's appearance when you walk in. The floor is unfinished, old looking concrete, which may give the idea of uncleanliness at first. However, the service and food were wonderful, as are the prices! The menu offers something for everyone, including GF options, and the waitress was awesome about making substitutions for me being vegan. She was so friendly and on it, getting refills of coffee and checking on us just enough. My daughter had the meat lovers omelet, which she devoured! My husband had a simple 2 egg breakfast that he said was good. I had huevos rancheros sans eggs (vegan), and it was great. For the value, the good food and friendly service, this place is definitely worth checking out!

If you're looking for a great local breakfast spot, look no further. We stopped in after a couple other places were not open, and I am glad we did. This was our first time here, but will not be our last. At:30 am on a Tuesday, it wasn't very many people, but the patrons were all in their retirement age. Because of that, I knew it was going to be good, and I was right. You seat your self and are immediately waited on by an extremely friendly staff. The menu is huge and has a little bit of something for everyone. We ordered huevos rancheros and whole grain pancakes with sausage and hashbrowns. I ordered sourdough toast with my meal as well. The food was excellent and the restaurant was clean. You have to walk up to the bar to pay, but we were paid in full and out the door in just a couple minutes. I'm very pleased with our experience.

We were looking for an inexpensive alternative to "the Egg and I" and, per the reviews, this was the place to get quality breakfast at a reasonable price, which sounded like a perfect fit to what we were looking for. Also, it was a plus that it was just a half a mile away from our home. When we walked in, we were given a friendly greeting and was quickly sat down at a near by booth, though the restaurant was becoming increasingly busier. In looking at the menu, I was pleasantly surprised by the various portion options. The juice came in large and small and both options were cheaper than their competition. I quickly jumped at the opportunity to drink orange juice that was easy on my pocket. For my meal, I ordered the Veggie Lovers Omelet with pancakes and hashbrowns. It took 30 minutes for our food to get to our table and the temperature of the food felt like it was cooked 15 minutes ago, which I figure was because they didn't have enough servers or helpers to ensure that the customer receives the food on time. Despite the lack of heat in my food, the food was average. With every bite of my food, I could imagine how delightful it would taste if it was only a bit warmer. My husband who ordered the pancakes topped with strawberries, said that the pancakes tasted like it came from McDonald's. Believing that the subpar quality matched the "reasonable" pricing, I refused to complain. You get what you pay for, I always say. However, the bill couldn't prove me more wrong. Our bill came to the total of $39 and some change, $8 more than we normally spend at the "Egg and I." From our experience, this was not an inexpensive alternative to the "Egg and I" and is not worth the...

I used to like the food from this place well this morning I went in and ordered a to go order. I ordered 2 country burritos and when they brought me my order it had 4 little tiny square containers (wouldn’t even hold a burrito so I was worried I checked the order and they took the “burrito “ and crammed it in the tiny container (wish I would’ve took a picture) the container was no bigger then a 3x3 container and gave me pancakes which I didn’t order I brought the order back in as it was unacceptable and they proceeded to tell me they were out of bigger containers I told them I ordered burritos and I expect a burrito not a handful of food wrapped in a tortilla they took the bag back and proceeded to take the same tiny burrito and put it in a bigger container (which they said they didn’t have ) and tried to give it back to me I told them I wanted a actual burrito so they took it back and brought me back out 2 big containers I checked it and it seemed acceptable so I brought it home when I got home it was hardly eatable no flavor and horrible quality they charged me $25 and if I took the food in the burritos it would have only made 1 burrito the first time I ever ordered from this place it was a big burrito and very delicious so I go there today having my hopes up for another delicious burrito and got slop I will never return to this place. I’m very unhappy and would never return if your considering this place to go eat you’d be better off cooking at home what I did eat of it I wish I...

I loved this place. It's definitely like a large diner, completely open concept for seating with minimal seclusion for the booths at the edge and tables and chairs in the middle. I seem to remember bar seating near the kitchen. I gave it 5 stars for the atmosphere because I didn't dislike it, but if one doesn't like loud noise or sitting very close to a neighboring table, take that into consideration. The food was really good. I was in a party of four, and I ordered the Sweet Cream Cheese Crepes that came with two eggs, any style, a sausage patty, and hash browns. I like very sweet foods, but I found that it was a little sweeter than my taste but still super yummy. I ate all but a couple of bites of the crepes and a few hash browns. Why? Because the portions are abundant! Seriously, you get more than the average breakfast place will serve. Coffee was my beverage of choice. My total bill, without tip, was $14.91. I gave our waitress a generous tip because she was new, it was extremely busy and she did an outstanding service for our party. She nailed it! We did have to wait a few minutes to be seated, not unexpected for Saturday brunch time. It was worth it! The menu is extensive, so we will certainly...
