GameStop — Local services in Colorado Springs

Bought a "New" PS Vita game from Gamestop yesterday. I say new in quotes as they just took the case of the game from the shelves and put the game in there. Tried to return it today since i really couldn't afford it but no. I'm now stuck with the game. They said "We can't take this game back because it is open" i explained that is how I bought the game, that it was just taken off the shelf and had the game inserted in that open case. They then said "Well did you play it?" "Of course I did" I told them. "Well since you played it it's now considered used and we can only give you trade in value for it". REALLY! How am i supposed to know it wasn't used in the first place since you just took the game cartridge (not CD mind you so really no way to tell if it has been used or not) from your bin and slapped it in an open case? Lessons learned: Gamestop is poor quality, Gamestop is very cheap(40$ new game bought just yesterday was now used and only worth trade in value[much less than 40$]), If I want a "NEW" game I buy it hermetically...

Girl with pink hair was very very rude. I went to buy a gift card. Then she started asking me personal questions like: This gift card is expensive and who are buying it for? Asking very nosey questions about why I was buying it. I’ve never seen anyone so nosey in my life. Then she started treating me like I was a criminal and the way she just stood there and glared at me. She made me feel so uncomfortable and most of all unwelcome in her crummy store. After I paid for it. She kept giving me these evil glares like I did something wrong. I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome that I just left the store. I’m definitely not patronizing a store that treats you so mean and evil. Not going there ever again. I’m done...

Went in a few weeks before Christmas to buy a PS5. Several staff working and the line moved quickly. They were pleasant, joking with the customers, keeping with the holiday joy. Gave me instructions on the insurance I bought for it. They didn't have a bag big enough for it and I felt a little vulnerable walking through the mall with so many people around and out into the dark parking lot, just holding it by the handle, but I did okay. Nice experience and the clerk did apologize a lot for not having...
