I absolutely adore Aardvarx. Every single time i’ve stepped foot into this store, i am greeted with smiles, warmth, and kindness. If i’m having a bad day walking into this store, my day is entirely turned around after walking out of this store.

The staff at Aardvarx is wonderful. I always have my questions answered, and they are always so kind when doing so. They truly care about their customers and are transparent about the pricing and quality of their products.

Be wary when buying plugs or gauges here. Bought a pair as a gift for somebody, and was told at the time of purchase that if she didn't like them I could return or at least exchange them. Well, she didn't like the color, so I returned WITH the receipt and the UNOPENED plugs and was told by the very same lady who sold them to me that they don't do returns OR exchanges. When I called her out about the lie that she herself had told me not two days prior, she just said "oh yea sorry about that." Of the handful of stores I like to visit in The District, Aardvarxx is my favorite. The prices are very fair and the quality is good. I have bought a lot of body jewelry there over the years. They have a nice selection of rings, neck chains and pendants. Magazines, incense (& burners), Zippos, smoking accessories, spiritual items, Egyptian perfume/oil bottles, patches, stickers,....
