I was in Columbia, Missouri for work for a few days and I decided to check out this particular vintage thrift shop. I’ve heard of it before but never got a chance to go inside and on this particular day I was close by. It is a little hard to find once you know where you’re looking for you have to walk up a big line of steps and once you’re inside you’re you’re pretty upstairs in a giant warehouse style building. I will say the material and clothing options are unbelievable. And I’m sure there are gold mines to be found in this shop. I walked around and many of the sections were disorganized and not easy to determine if it was for men, women or anyone. I looked around from some props and costumes as I often can find some interesting pieces I can use for next years shows I’m performing. As I circling around and found myself transported to my grandmothers basement I was suddenly feeling like my shoe picked up a wad of gum or cough drop. I now visit often to check on new selection, talk with Scotty, and hang at the coolest atmosphere downtown.

I think the coolest part of this place, is how long it’s been in business. I’ve heard stories from many individuals who have shopped here in years past.
I remember one individual talking about how in the 90s she always shopped here for her vintage Levi’s, stories like this...
Read moreBy far the best vintage, and very top of the second hand list overall, in Columbia. Fair prices and fantastic finds-- I found a never worn Y2K wedding dress for under $80! Huge stock of vintage Levi's and single stitch t-shirts. Bonus-- if you like to sew/upcycle, you HAVE to come here. Hidden on the bottom shelf in the back right corner of the store is a huge pile of vintage fabrics. I've purchased remnants large enough to make garments, one of which is a hand stitched quilt top!!! I'm moving out of state and am so sad that I can't come to Leo's anymore!!! (Also, very...
