I had weird energy when I went in today to do an exchange and or return. I really wanted to do an exchange due to my work shoes being run down. The staff was very helpful at first. When I started asking for other options one of the staff members that was helping me legit just dipped and started helping another customer who seemed to know her really well. Overall I am not happy with how I was treated today at American Shoe. I felt like I was an inconvenience or was wasting their time because I wasn't a sale/commission for them. It was weird...

I have never felt more loved than when I walked into the American Shoe store downtown and was met with a big hug and an amazing hour of shoe shopping. Lots of trendy and classic shoe styles for any age, beautifully decorated store, and wonderful, helpful staff who put you and your shoe shopping experience on a grand scale! Every pair that I have been given or have purchased is made of high quality leather or other materials, and are created with impeccable construction....

I had such a great experience at American Shoe Store in Columbia. I went in looking for new running shoes and Sarah was awesome. She really took the time to listen, brought out a few options, and made sure I found the right fit.

I ended up with a pair of Topo running shoes that feel amazing. Super comfortable, lightweight, and exactly what I needed. You can tell they actually care about helping you.
