DO NOT BOOK WITH DRE!! âDreCutz M.â He had the absolute WORST customer service, I paid $50 for a haircut and drove out to Columbia to get the cut, and 30 minutes before the appointment he calls me and says he needs to cancel and refund because his bank isnât set up with the platform. He keeps the appointment but expected me to pay another $50 on arrival or else I had to turn around and go home and leave without a haircut. I told him I would pay him once I received the money back (I had ALREADY PAID!) but instead of being kind and understanding, he walked away and said âHey do you need a cut?â to someone waiting in line.
This was not only a complete lack of respect but also professionalism displayed by someone who is cutting hair for a living and in a customer service industry. I immediately called the owner, Kino, over the phone who was very respectful and understanding to work out a situation so I could get a haircut before having to leave.
Another barber, Danielle, was extremely respectful and professional and provided me with Kinoâs number, and informed me that I could get my hair cut by her and pay her when I received my refund. That is exceptional customer service, so I would highly recommend her, but I informed the owner I would be leaving a scathing review and Dre SHOULD NOT be a barber at this establishment if he cares at all about the future of his business. The encounter was witnessed by multiple customers and likely left a bad impression on the establishment. I will likely not return to this barbershop simply because of this terrible incident, but I hope if you decide to go you DO NOT BOOK WITH DRE. Most of the other barbers seem to carry themselves with respect, but...
Read moreWorst haircut of my life. Showed reference photos but did not look like anything I wanted at all. For context, I just wanted a simple undercut and a trim for my fringe. (Look at photos for the disastrous aftermath) Bro had me lookin like Nobita from Doraemon iykyk.
âStylistâ was so rough with the clippers it started hurting my scalp. He literally did me so dirty by cutting my fringe horizontally, and left it super untidy and uneven. Went so deep with the undercut it seemed like he was giving me a bowl cut on purpose. Like, where did you get licensed? Are you even licensed? Bro didnât even look like he wanted to be there.
At that point, the damage had been done, and I did not bother to let him âfixâ it, fearing he might cause further harm. My mistake for even considering this barber in the first place. I should just stick to my Asian barbers. Oh and his name is Brandon - youâre lucky I even cashapped that $30 to you. Use it to pay for haircutting lessons lol. Nonetheless, a valuable lesson for me. Big L, and for the life of me I would not...
Read moreI asked to trim 1/2 inch off the top and for a skin fade. The fade itself was decent, but the guy using the clippers was very rough and used an unnecessary amount of force on my head, to the point where the clippers felt like they were cutting my head. The worst part was the scissor cut up top. Not only did the guy cut off closer to an inch off the top, but he also cut it unevenly, so one side is looks rounded, and the other side is more squared off. It looks like I have bed head now. When he was finished, he only showed me the side profile in the mirror of the good side so I wouldn't see how uneven my haircut was. Would not recommend this place to anyone and will definitely not be...
