Aaron's Rent To Own — Local services in Columbia

This is the most unorganized store. They make mistakes and then yell at good paying customers. I loved the Aaron's where I lived back in Maine, so when I moved I went to the Aaron's here. I got a laptop it broke so I returned it and got a loaner. I loved the loaner so asked if I could just keep it and make payments on that. I went in paid my payment on time and updated my phone number with the Rep there. Today my mom who's in FL calls and said that Aaron's called her and needed to speak to me. I wondered why they never attempted to call me before calling my references. So I call. I asked why they didn't contact me first. The lady I spoke with was the rude and nasty and claimed that I never updated my information calling me a liar..then I said what do u need and she wanted me to make a payment I explained I already had she said no you haven't I again explained I had she then asks me if I had one or two laptops I said one. I explained how the one I had to begin with had issues I got a loaner decided to keep it and paid for it on the 3rd...she basically called me a liar again and said it showed I had two and she's going to check into it. I was shaking mad at this point and got off the phone with her and called to file a complaint. I'm sure nothing will get done but it pisses me off that I am the customer I pay good money on time every month to get called a liar. The woman I made the complaint with appolgized but as soon as I get the money I'm throwing this laptop back at them telling them to drive it up their ass and never going back there again. I have NEVER in my life received such poor treatment and customer service. Aarons in Lawrenceburg, Tn (which is closed) and the Columbia, TN store both has been the worse experienced EVER. When we first started doing business we purchased a GE washing machine and a GE Dryer. The GE Washing machine (supposedly brand new) stopped working within a month. They replaced it with a used Samsung washing machine. We were still paying for the GE washing machine. When I called and asked where our GE washing machine was I was told it was in lost merchandise. So after a whole year they brought down a Samsung Dryer to match the Samsung Washing. Both were used products we have been paying the price for the new merchandise. I was notified by Jeff at Columbia that Lawrenceburg, Tn store was closing. So everything would now be handled in Columbia, TN store. I spoke with him and told him the Samsung Washing wasn't working properly. I was told that they would send a new one down before I moved in July. Here we are almost at the end of August. Everytime I call I get some type of excuse to someone would be calling me back. We've went almost three weeks without a washing machine and still no merchandise has been delivered. I have filed a complaint with corporate. This Aaron's experience should have NO STARS AT ALL!!!!!! Now since I know better I definitely won't do business with this Aaron's location AGAIN! Hands down the WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!...

If you rent from here, it’s all fine and dandy until you decide that you don’t want it anymore because they will never come and get their merchandise. here it is been almost a week and a half, and I still have the same bed that I don’t want and have not made any payments and I still have it because they won’t come and get it. The delivery drivers suck. They lie and say they come by your house and knock on the door and they don’t. I have a camera So I’m gonna know if you knocked on my door or not. They try to avoid coming to get stuff because they are lazy. It’s really freaking ridiculous. The staff has communication problems and it seems like the manager just seems to hire anybody to get the job done. Delivery drivers don’t wear uniforms so it looks like random people knocking on your door and then this day and time that’s dangerous to just open the door for any random man knocking on your door. Not to mention, I also rent a fireplace from them And not only did it take me almost 6 weeks to receive it but when they put it together, they forgot pieces and they damaged it.
