Ordered 2 gyros like I normally do I went to get a sandwich for my daughter at Jason's Deli next door when I returned, I checked the bag, and there was no suziki sauce when I asked the guy for a couple of tsuzikis for my 2 gyros, he said, how many would you like I told him Well, they gave me 4 last time for my 2 gyros, but I really only need 3 He then proceeds to type something in the cash register and tells me I owe him $3.18. I asked why he's gonna charge me for something that's supposed to come on the gyro and that I had never been charged for it Previously and I've eaten there almost every week since they opened. It was a weird little guy with face piercings, he said, I don't care I'm just doing my job. I asked him, are you going to lose the sale and a customer because you refuse to give me sauce for my gyro. He said, yes, so I told him to refund all my money and walked out of the restaurant. I will not be going back there if they want to nickel and dime me for a tiny little ketchup size container of tzuziki sauce that has always been included previously with my orders. Better hire some better employees with an ounce of customer service, better customer facing personal hygiene and personal presentation or you won't be in business long.

The not-so-good: spanakopita was savory but a bit doughy, and I missed the hint of dill in spanakopitas past. Gyro not bad, not great. No onions in it, which seemed odd, and a flavor to the meat that was just… not gyro. Baklava too thick with phyllo, tough, dry, too light on filling, and very plain in flavor, mostly just flatly sweet. The best baklava I’ve had left your fingers moist with honey and your palate pricked with cinnamon. Not so here. As for authenticity, I can’t claim to be a connoisseur but when the server brought out our food he said, “Who had the… uh, what’s this called again? Sorry, I forgot, it has a weird name.” If there are any actual Greeks connected to this place we didn’t meet them. Take that as you will. Noisy place, nothing on the walls, ceilings, or floors to soften the ambient noise. It’s now 20 minutes after we left, and my ears are still ringing.
The upshot: next time I want Greek food, I’ll drive the half hour up 95 to...

Let me tell you something: I’ve been to Ruth’s Chris, dropped over $100 a plate, and didn’t get half the service I got right here at The Big Greek Café. Ashley and Angela? They’re not just employees—they’re the standard every business should study.
From the moment I walked in, their energy was flawless—all smiles, genuine conversation, and next-level hospitality. They didn’t just take my order—they gave recommendations, broke down the full menu like food sommeliers, and made me feel like family instead of just a customer.
Ashley and Angela are the reason I keep coming back. Every company in America needs a duo like them—friendly, professional, and locked in on making people feel seen, served, and celebrated.
Big Greek Café, take notes: these two ARE the brand. I walked in hungry, I left full—not just from food, but from kindness, good vibes, and rare service you don’t find...
