I am 23 years old. I have never been to a “high end” jewelry store such as Pandora. My grandmother’s 67th birthday is 1/25/1956 and I wanted to get her something special. We also just lost my only brother who would have been 29 in February. So I decided I wanted to get my mother a nice gift as well. I started searching online for jewelry (not sure of what I was looking for just knowing I was on a budget). I noticed many jewelry stores in Columbia which was about 20 minutes away from me. I narrowed it down to Kay Jewelers, Jared’s, and Pandora. I saved Pandora for last because I thought they only dealt with charms and bracelets (not really what I was looking for). Our experience at Kay’s was horrible. We were completely judged and followed around the entire store. The experience at Jared’s was nearly identical with the exception of 2 associates telling me not to stand so close to the display cases… So we decided to head to Pandora. The experience was night and day. We felt welcomed and we were allowed to freely look at everything. Our associate’s name was Regina, she was amazing. She deserves a raise and/or a promotion. She answered all of my questions and helped me find 2 amazing necklace/earring sets for my grandmother and mother. She was so patient and caring. She even sized my finger for a ring and showed me what was available… My fiancé and I were contemplating getting a fancy engagement ring but thought we could never afford one. I also have very sensitive skin and many metals break me out. Regina showed me a wide selection and allowed me to try on and compare every single one I was interested in (about 6 rings total)… Regina was also very honest about the durability and sensitivity of the jewelry. She herself was wearing many items and stated her skin was also very sensitive and none of their jewelry broke her out so that’s all she wears. I was sold… The prices were so good and the quality of the jewelry was amazing… However, I want the company of Pandora to know that it was not their products that made me a satisfied customer. It was that sales associate. Not only did I leave with a purchase that was way below my budget, high quality, and completely satisfied… I left with the full intention of coming back next time I need something special…. I also felt very well informed and confident about the jewelry I purchased. Mrs. Regina was so inviting, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She showed no judgement whatsoever when I mentioned I could not spend a whole lot. She was very understanding and patient with us. I now hold a standard for customer service and how consumers should be treated- a high standard that was exceeded with Regina today. I purchased 2 earring/necklace sets & a 64cm engagement ring that is absolutely beautiful and fits perfectly. My purchase was $336. I am extremely satisfied. I also want to mention that my fiancé has extremely large knuckles so the only engagement ring option we have tried is a silicon ring. The shape of his fingers makes guessing his size difficult. His current silicone ring is about 1.5 sizes to big. I relayed this information to Regina at the end of my transaction. She took a look at his hands and advised us that their location has mainly women’s jewelry sizes and with such a specific need we could try having him sized at Pandora’s parent company: Reed’s. She was completely patient and very informative. I just wanted to add this in because rather than just rushing us out the door after our purchase, Regina still remained dedicated and friendly. She continued to be an excellent customer service associate. Regina gave us directions and we went there directly after. Even though the experience at Reed’s was terrible and we left with no additional knowledge, we appreciate the advice that Regina gave us. This was a long review but that Pandora sales associate deserves it. I hope the company reads this entire thing and she is noticed. She deserves it. You guys made a customer for life because of Mrs. Regina. I will be recommending Pandora to all my friends, family, &...
Read moreThis is the WORST customer service during the holidays. I live far from the mall. I placed my order online it is currently ready to go in the store. I checked the website and Pandora says they are open til 9pm. I get to the store at approx. 7:50pm there is a woman in a red shirt no name tag but works there telling me that the line is now closed because the store closed at 7pm. I’m like why would I drive here the night before Christmas Eve if you were closed. Why does your website say you are open til 9pm. I then asked her if she could just retrieve the package that was ready and paid for online so I didn’t have to come back. She said I would have to come back tomorrow that she would not do that. This was now the second time I tried to access the store during their “business hours” according to the door and they were not opened. This is horrible customer service. I was begging this woman to just please please give me my package I have already paid form. I begged her and her response was, “Do you want me to call security on you?” Real nice. I will NO LONGER ever purchase ANYTHING from this company again. I told her she had GREAT CHRISTMAS SPIRIT. Also, they still had people in line to shop. My shopping was done and paid for she couldn’t just get me my...
Read moreHorrible service. I just went to the Charlotte store & was blown away at how much better their environment & salesmanship/service was. When you go to a jeweler you should be treated special, EVERYONE, especially returning customers. I just had to turn my limited edition bracelet in for one that doesn't compare, but they did their best AND IT WOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO HAPPEN AT ALL IF THE "CLERKS" at Columbia store listened to me the 1st time when I told them my clasp wasn't secure correctly. Instead, the lady took my bracelet, looked at it and said, "looks ok to me." Like she wore & knew my jewelry. THEN sold me another clasp that would prevent my charms from falling off if it came open again. I like the concept, but my fiance & I were so discouraged by the service we were only going to order online or just give up altogether. We came from Philly and purchased my engagement ring on Jewlers Row known for quality & service. I didn't think I'd get I'd get the same experience, but wow, HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. I'm grateful to see the way Pandora is supposed to treat their customers in Charlotte. They were extremely apologetic and made sure I was ok...
