Geek Squad — Local services in Columbus

I sent my laptop in due to frequent shutdowns and mousepad malfunctions. It took them two weeks to send it back, and the only problem they seemed to find was excessive cat hair. I have three cats, so I'll give them that. What I won't give them is the fact that I got it back, still having the same issues and, worse yet, missing one of the custom screws for the device. Not only that, when I purchased this device as a replacement, they formatted and erased all the data from the hard drive they used to back up my old system. Do NOT trust this Geek Squad with ANY repairs. You can't even trust them to perform routine maintenance like device cleaning, as they lose screws. They keep your data, sift through your information, and then "accidentally"...

Geek Squad came to my house to diagnose a TV in Columbus, Indiana. The tech never touched the TV. Never plugged into the diagnostic port or anything. He used the remote to see the problem, made some calls to the guys that are supposed to know. They diagnosed and made a huge estimate for repair. I found the part on the internet and repaced it in less that 15 minutes. It did not fix my problem....

Very unprofessional! They told me over the phone they could work on my apple lap top, I live almost two hours away. So I drive their for them to tell me they will take a look at it but they are not apple certified to fix it and they don't typically work on Apple's. So why tell me over the phone you can!!??
