Some of the staff is snobby and/or not helpful!!!
My entire - very large group of both family, church family, and friends ALWAYS go to Aldies for fresh vegetables, milk, eggs, bread, and even items from the inner aisles.
However, we NEVER get potatoes from you. They rot within 3 days and that's pushing it, some have already began rotting the following day.
We have began to wonder if ALL of your food items are brought to you on a refrigerated truck in order to save you money, instead of having some food items shipped to you on a separate NON - refrigerated truck.....? Such as canned goods.
Not to mention your prices keep going up... why?
I have been there when canned goods and fresh vegetables such as potatoes, onions, peppers, squash, tomatoes are being stocked. These items are very cold coming from your storage room to the floor to be stocked. If you are not refrigerating those items in your store (on the floor), then they DON'T need to be sent refrigerated or stored in the stock room, refrigerated. This causes the items to ruin quicker!!! So we are now paying higher prices for items that are ruining within 3 days of purchase. While you guys seem to be saving money by shipping all food items together.
We also NEVER purchase fresh meat, such as roast, chicken, pork loin, hamburger from you because compared to ANY store, you are waaaaay to high. And to top it off, it's too high for the SMALL package we get!!!
And please don't start cleaning your floors an hour before closing time with your BIG, EXTREMELY LOUD MACHINE. Customers don't want to hear all that noise and chaos while they are trying to rush around and get what they need before your ENTIRELY TOO EARLY CLOSING TIME!
We have busy lives too, picking up kids after school or activities is stressful enough. So, coming there and hearing that, almost painful sound is just simply irritating and rude! You can do that...

The lines at check are a nightmare. They take too long to open other lanes. However once the lanes are open the workers are very quick. They could use a class on being a little more polite and remember to smile 😃! And please .... Stop throwing everything in my cart. I keep my items organized in the cart as I shop and place them carefully on the belt in their sorted groups. I know it must be obvious to the cashiers when I put cold items together and raw meat away from other things. I dont want my eggs, bread and chips smashed. I actually open the eggs to make sure they arent broken and pick bread that is in good shape and the furthest date, I lightly shake chips and feel for broken ones, as to get a better bag. I am paying for all of this so why not get the best for my family that I can.... And then the cashiers just throw and toss them into the cart without a care.
I'm just asking to have a little more respect, be more aware of your CURRENT CUSTOMERS NEEDS.... Not worrying about how fast you can get all of these people through..... Which goes back to my original suggestion. If you open more lanes much sooner... The cashiers might be more personable with the customer they are currently ringing up.

Things they may not have at the time, but have substitutes for, are pork roasts and whole chicken. Processed and branded items shift frequently, and there is also a selection of supplementary items that changes weekly, such as cooking supplies, tools, and furniture. Their phone app can tell you what they have that week, and you can also have groceries delivered through it, though at a significant and somewhat concealed markup.
If you've had the Wal-Mart brand of cheap bread, they do not have anything comparable-- the cheap bread is actually tolerable.
The synopsis of this place is that everything is cheaper, but they make sure the quality of what they stock is serviceable. The staff are balanced,...
