Great Wall Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Columbus

It's was crazzzzy how quickly they prepared a 3 dinner "to go" order for pickup. Originally I called in 2 dinners but had a call from son that he would be home so I added a third dinner (pulled over about half way to restaurant to call it in) & they had all 3 ready to go...snap Snap snap!!! When they say 5 minutes they mean it will be ready in 5 minutes 😂 Chinese cuisine is always a fav in our family! If I have any negative in general, it would be the cost vs portion. Seems like with any Chinese restaurant we visit the prices increase or the value seems to decrease with small portion feel and no sides or extra something... lacks of it being or feeling like an actual meal feel imo...it would be nice to throw in a spring roll or maybe even some white rice or cup of soup???...idk just a little something 😉 It would definitely make the restaurant that does that stand out amongst the many I...

They were very understanding when I recently messed up. I called in an order, thinking I was calling the Great Wall in Franklin. Was surprised that the Franklin Great Wall didn't have our order ready (duh!). The Columbus Great Wall called to remind me that my order was ready, and that's when I realized what I'd done. I told them I couldn't pick it up, but I stopped by a few days later to pay for it (since it was my mistake, not theirs!) and they wouldn't take it! I did order food from them that time.

The General Tso's Chicken had a really nice, thick sauce, but I wouldn't call it "extra spicy" like I ordered. My wife said the Garlic Chicken was good, and the kids had some Sweet & Sour Chicken and lo mein noodles. Might give them...

My family came here on Christmas Eve when the power was out. They were one of the few restaurants open. They were excellent!! Fresh made! They were so sweet and gracious to our family of 8 dining in! We have found a new favorite Chinese restaurant in Columbus!! Everything was delicious but our favorites were the bourbon chicken and the sweet and sour chicken. The crab Rangoon was excellent as well. We will definitely be returning! We may make it a Christmas Eve tradition, but we won't wait a year before returning....
