Placed a mobile order for a few food items and the Frozen lemonade. My daughter chose that over the mountain dew that is shown on the mobile app. I placed the order to pick up in the Drive-Thru because I specifically didn't want to go in for a number of reasons. When I gave my name and that it was a mobile order, they told me to pull around. When I finally got to the window I was asked to come in and pick the order up with no explanation. The young lady was very nice about it and I told her that I specifically ordered for drive-thru because I didn't have a mask with me (and quite frankly I was just tired to be honest) but she said I didn't need a mask so I agreed since it's already paid for. I go in and tell them I'm there for mobile order that was placed for drive thru but asked to come in, lady processed order and then they asked me what I want to substitute for the frozen lemonade because they don't have it, so I said mountain dew which was my daughter's other option looking at the mobile app. This particular location doesn't carry Pepsi products they carry Coke products. So my complaint is not with any of the employees from this location because they were all very friendly. My issue is more so for the app developers and corporate allowing somebody to order certain items that some locations don't carry. They may need to get with some of the other fast food locations whose mobile app is better designed and can tell when certain things are not available and it avoids letting you purchase it and then have to try to substitute it for something else because the stores can't issue the refunds for mobile orders.
Again both ladies that I came into contact with at the store were kind and professional and I have NO issues with them whatsoever. The store was clean and while I didn't necessarily like the fact that I had to go inside, I was in and out in a matter of 3 to 5 minutes and the food was fresh. And this is the first time getting the macaroni and cheese and I must say that...
Read moreI attempted to place this review on Yelp, but per usual, my comment got moved to "not recommended" because it was negative. What a scam. Anyway, here's my HONEST review...
This is possibly the worst fast food restaurant in Columbus. I live in the area and used to pick up food here for my family every couple of weeks. Invariably I was told they were out of at least one of the items I ordered. I'd have to pull off to the side and wait at least 15 minutes for them to finally mosey out with my food. The record was 35 minutes to get drive through food (I timed them from the moment I placed the order) without any apology or explanation. When the food finally does come, it's routinely cold and/or incorrect. I can't tell you how many times I've gone home and found the wrong sides, wrong sauce or wrong drinks with my order.
Despite knowing that management here is incompetent and the workers are rude and lazy, I decided to give them another try tonight against my better judgment. After waiting in line for 10 minutes to place my order, I was told they were completely out of both mild and spicy chicken and there would be a 20 minute wait for them to make more. This is the entire premise of their restaurant -- to sell chicken! When I questioned them on it, I got two workers talking over each other (and me) making smart-a$$ remarks. One mouthed off "we just got some good chicken!" And then laughed. When I tried to reply, both workers again talked over me. No apology. No shame for having failed to have their CORE PRODUCT available. No recognition of their own incompetence or the fact that they were expecting me to wait at least 30 minutes to get FAST FOOD! Just apathy, arrogance and ignorance.
Do yourself a favor and go someplace else. In less than 30 minutes, you could sit down at a table-service restaurant and be eating much better food while these morons are still trying to figure out how to...
Read moreI went with a Buddy to dine in at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and he had the two-piece meal with mashed potatoes. The chicken sandwich was moist and fresh, the bun delicious, and the sauce with just enough heat after each bite to make it delightful.
My friend enjoyed his meal(a small drumstick and a decent size breast) and he said the mashed potatoes were excellent and the biscuit the same.
IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM 3/18/2022 After going back almost every Friday (missing just a few to eat at different places) yesterday our $17.?? meals jumped to $21.23. The chicken sandwich WAS DRY and it was like they forgot to put on the delicious sauce (I could barely taste it) PLUS - it had gone up from $3.99 to $4.49, and they were now charging me $1.99 for a small water. FOR A SMALL WATER. I spoke with the manager and the injustice was refunded but sorry, My feathers had already been ruffled and I aint going back. And $3.19 for little dish of Mac and Cheese. One week they're charging me $0.50 and then the next week there charging me $3.19. NO WAY JOSE!!! It's good, but I can buy two boxes for less than that and throw in a little cheese from Aldi's and make it taste that rich,. Okay - so I've got to wait for the water to boil at home, for that price I can wait.
And how do you raise the price of a chicken sandwich but not the price of the two-piece meal? Where's the logic in that? And how does my sales tax go from 17 cents to $1.48? In 2 weeks and the only thing difference is the addition of a cinnamon apple pie? I'm looking at the receipts you people don't know what you're doing.!!!!!!!
SORRY POPEYES YOU LOST A LOYAL...
