An office sign, or a front desk employee showed a contract to me that, stated 'we follow all laws'. I signed the contract and checked in to my room. Soon after that, I reported on the phone loud music by a black guest to the manager, Jeff. When he had not seen me before in person. Soon after that, such loud music stopped, and the black guest checked out. Soon after that, when Jeff saw me for the first time in person, he looked at me in a hostile way. I, as a white person, dressed much more hip hop/ black in person than in my driver's license picture. Soon after that, I reported loud trucks- by white guests checked in by Nacy- to Jeff. though Nacy and Jeff, themselves, could hear loud trucks. Because they could hear things, such as my reports, which were quieter. And they were the only front desk employees there. But such loud trucks did not stop, and the guests did not check out. Soon after that, Nacy started replacing black guests with more white guests who drove such loud trucks past my room 100+ times each day and night for a few months. Most of which my decibel meter showed were past the lawful limit, and caused me sleep deprivation. Which Jeff colluded in that, by him never having taken corrective action, with her. But such loud trucks past too randomly and fast for corrective action to be taken by law enforcement about that. And during such few months, after office hours, I reported an endlessly loud tv by a guest to law enforcement. And I saw another employee meet law enforcement at the front of the property. as though my report was given to him ahead of time by them. And I saw them chat with him, not respond to the report by me/ not knock on the door of the guest, and leave the property. And if any of such employees mentioned above were undercover law enforcement, then Nacy still should not have disturbed the peace. Or, before doing that, any of them should have asked for me to check out. So the property owner should make staff great not only for white, but also for black,...
Read moreIt turned out to be the most reasonable in the area. I needed to sleep and it was so quiet. I could not smell any cigarette smoke, that's a good thing. I had the microwave ( for popcorn) and refrigerator ( to keep my wine and cheese cold). I complemented the receptionist about the gardening, it was a big job but many flowering plants were added, and that made a nice difference to me. The parking lot was so lit that I think it's visible from the moon. That made me feel safe. Also inside, when I needed hot water I got it. Also I noticed the laundry was reasonable at $2 a load. Laundry detergent was expensive at $4 for a very small box. Get yours nearby at the dollar tree. Nice...
