The Juicy Seafood — Restaurant in Columbus

OMG NEVER AGAIN! Our waitress was Amiyah ( probably spelled wrong) she was extremely rude and displayed she didn't want to be at work. After taking our order she came back and asked what drinks did we order and told us she had forgotten. She came back with two drinks we didn't order and came again still didn't remember who ordered what.

Our seafood bags were opened at the cashier counter then brought to our table. We observed her taking other customers seafood bag to their table shaking thoroughly then opened.

She never came back to check on us to see if we needed anything or ask if everything was okay. When did return to our table asked how did we want to pay. I replied by asking each person at the table, " Did you enjoy your meal? Was everything okay? Would like to have dessert?" , then looked at her and replied "We are good, thank you for asking."

We had a party of 5 adults and a two year old. She charged us a 18% gratuity when we didn't order anything for the child. When asked for that to be adjust our bill, her attitude got worse. She stated we charge for everyone at the table. We stated No not if they didn't order anything and he's two years old. She came back with the change but basically shoving the bill at us stating, "Here." As she rolled her eyes. While she waited for us to review the bill she began to spin around the wooden 💈 pole beam behind us. We asked for takeout plates. She was observed going to the cashier counter sitting down using her phone. We asked again she said okay and repeated the same action. My son had to go over to her to request it again. She came back with 3 take out bags. I asked her are we just going to through the left over fish and our other food in a bag? She replied well you ask for a carryout bag. She came back FINALLY with one not 3 carry-out containers as my daughter held out her hand to receive it. Amiyah looked at me then throw the container on the table and walked away.

WORSE SERVICE EVER!

I WILL NOT RETURN AGAIN! I'm grateful there are other options near by.

This type of service is totally unacceptable. When people go out to enjoy their meal and served with respect, courtesy and a smile. No one should pay to be disrespected and given attitude.

I am absolutely livid! I ordered the crab boil. When my food was brought to me it was cold 🥶🤮! No heat whatsoever! I also ordered a side of rice and never got it. The waitress was so in a rush. Barely got my order out. She brought the fries and rushed off. Brought the boils and rushed off. I waited for a second to try to catch her if she came back around, but she didn't return until an hour later and asked if we wanted to go boxes. I didn't say anything then because we had been there so long and I was ready to leave. But then she took another 30 minutes to bring the check. I mean I had enough time to debate walking the hell out of there, but im not that kind of person. When she returned I politely asked her why my food was cold when she brought it out. Her response was "why you didnt say something earlier" with an attitude. I told her that it was because she never came back. She said she had other tables. Then she got the manager and the manager asked the same damn question! I just told them to bring me the check. I want to make it perfectly clear that this is not ok. Having other tables is not an excuse. The other wait staff managed their tables well. Both the server and manager need to obtain better customer service skills. I didnt get an answer to my question or an offer to correct the situation. Though I didn't want the food remade. The food was brought out THAT cold and we weren't sitting there long before she brought it out. So it had to have been made before we ordered. And with the attitude the server gave I wouldnt trust anything she brought back to the table. I paid and took the food home just to...

I arrived at 5:30 and it was very Busy. The front door was heavily congested with people. I was greeted by a handsome fellow in a suit and he escorted me to my seat. We had a table of 15. Holly was an excellent host! Our food came out accordingly. I ordered the weekend special which consisted of 12 e-z peel shrimp, 1 crab cluster, lobster tail, 2 potatoes, and corn Juicy Medium style. It had the right amount of seasonings and heat, but I should have requested my lobster tail whole. I took a bite of the corn and it lacked that certain sweet yellow corn flavor that I'm use to...This was the highs of the evening, now for the lows... Front door was Con-gest-ed. Small entry way, with decor, parking, and waiting area greeting you at the front door. The inside was just the same lots of decor, music playing, an echo of voices, and the bright sun in my face!!! There were no blinds or shades over the windows, I'm guessing JS thought the dark tint would suffice. I had to wear my sunnies. Tables and spaces are very limited when the house is packed. To end my experience on a couple high notes, the front of the house sung happy birthday to my homegirl and it was very loud and upbeat, added that extra flare to our evening. JS house margaritas were well made. I will say that from the time seated to the time we walked out the door wasn't bad at all. Got there at 5:30 walked out around 6:50. Over all I enjoyed it...may come back soon on...
