I posted on here before about my experience but It’s no longer here for some reason. anyways , about a month ago I went to Joseph camp at this location for partial highlights, which were supposed to be $65. My hair was already mostly blonde, and I just wanted my roots to be blended into it. He highlighted and toned my hair, and when he said he was done, the roots were very brassy and orange and didn’t at all match the rest of my hair. when I said that, he offered to retone it, after retoning my hair was pretty much the same, brassy and orange and roots not matching the rest of my hair. At this point I realized he just seemed to not really know what he was doing, and asked to pay. he told me the price was $120. I was confused, and he said that since he had to tone twice that was the price. He had to tone twice, because he did a poor job the first time. And even the second time he did a poor job because I left with terrible hair and had to pay for someone else to fix it. and even they were surprised by what a poor job he had done. When I questioned him about the price and told him I should not have to pay for his hair errors he told me my hair was already jacked up when I got there.... very unprofessional, and didn’t at all take responsibility for his errors. not really knowing what to do , I paid him and left. Thinking about it now, he probably overcharged me to ensure he’d get a tip(the additional $60 he charged me) even though he didn’t at all derserve one. not sure how the other workers at this location are, but I would strongly recommend not going to Joseph...
Read moreI had booked a color and cut with heather and the whole experience was terrible. I have her a picture of what I wanted and it was nothing like the picture so she apologized and made an appointment for the next day to fix it. (So I paid for the service and prepaid for her fixing it. This I never got back even though she didn’t do the service) She also recommended I make an appointment for my twins and husband so I did. Apt was for 230 the next day. Well the day comes and she tells me she 15 min behind I said that was fine but couldn’t be any later we had plans. She assured me it was only 15 minutes. We get there and that’s when she says she is an hour and 15 minutes behind. So we couldn’t stay. She apologize and by her request we made another appointment for the next day again. Well it came around and she told me the store didn’t have the color she needed and texted me and told me that there was to much tension and was uncomfortable because of her own problems. So I paid $200 for something she knows was wrong also I prepaid for her to fix it and was not offered even a partial refund for my paying for her fixing it that she didn’t do or for the first experience that she messed up by her own admission. Horrible experience and now waste of money because I have to pay some one else to fix her mistake. Extremely frustrating and disappointing. I hope this helps. I have never in my life left a review but I felt strongly about...
Read moreThis review is on Joe Camp/Smith at Salon Lofts in German Village. I needed a cut and color. My hair color is Strawberry Blonde, I just needed the color enhanced and the gray covered. I showed him a picture of a reddish/blonde color that I wanted, what I got was a brown color that is no where near the color I asked for. He was distracted with other things and I was not his focus. My appointment was at 6:30 and I was not seated until after 7pm. I told him that the color was too dark and not what I wanted. When I sent him a testimonial, he bashed me, called me names, said I bullied him. , he sent me a text calling me trash and advising that he was blocking me and not allowing me to post my testimony. He bashed me for not speaking up when I was in his loft, I advised him that It was too dark and not really what I wanted but it was ok. I didn't want to wait any longer than I had. His loft was messy, he didn't clean up any of the hair from his previous customers and used a towel that had already been out and used from...
