Great Clips — Local services in Columbus

This Review is for the "Owners" of Great Clips... Well, when I found out that Sheri was moved from Easton to German Village, ( I had just recently found her and had the best (2) cuts and service ever from her, and was hooked--started referring my friends and family) my finance' and I headed straight there to get his hair cut. He has a very tough hair line and it's difficult for anyone to get his hair to look good. I was excited because I knew he would love his hair after Sheri cut it..... If I could, I would give a "5" star for Sheri and a "No" star for "Angel" (I assume the manager, the way she was throwing herself around). This was crazy! We walked in and waited our turn. Sheri called us up after about 20 mins or so. My finance" was so embarrassed, after he sat in her chair.... "Angel" announced to the entire room that Sheri had skipped someone (internet sign in). We weren't sure what to do next..... as he already had the apron around his neck... and everyone was staring at us! OMG really? could you have been a bit more professional and taken her to the side maybe? It was like high school.. very obvious that Angel had some sort of beef with Sheri. Ok, so He got the best hair cut he's ever had and he loves it!! What a shame... Why would any intelligent business owner make such a ridiculous decision. Moving such an asset as Sheri, from such a high traffic place, where she, must have many, many loyal customers, bringing with them lot's of referrals and repeat business. All I can say is "Wow" Wake up. (I have been in sales, and mgmt most of my adult life, and can easily spot talent... Sheri is a Super Star, who should be running her...

Alright so right from the jump the lady who checked me in as a walk in did not listen. She asked for my phone number. I gave it to her said I didn't know my old number linked to my old account. She says that's okay what is my name. I tried to tell her THREE times that my last name was hyphenated and she had only put in one half of my last name she continued to interrupt me and talk over me I had wanted to use my previous account. When she can't find it she asks for the address, I tell her, she says "can't remember? Okay well set u up a new account." I let it drop upset she clearly wasn't paying attention to a word I said. Now what I wanted, and what I got. Says all it needs to say at first I loved it but then I noticed something and now I am mortified. You see after I got checked in and got taken back I showed them a reference photo, everything looked good until my partner pointed out one side of my hair. It had not been blended and was simply cut straight across on accident I presume the other side was blended but it's very obvious and looks like I started giving myself a bob and abruptly stopped and it was only visible after I got home because it can only be seen looking at me...

I ask for a fade. The gentleman that did my hair. Only faded one side. And left long hairs all over my head. I did not notice while I was there.(( I even tip him 10 bucks)). So I spent 27 bucks there. Just to go home and find out I look like a idiot. So I had to go to Mike's Barbara shop on parsons Avenue Columbus ohio the same day to get it done right. So I spent 47 and some Change on a hair cut. That's money I don't have. I got three babies at home under the age of three. And I'm the only one under my roof that works. So 47 bucks to me is a big deal. ((( UPDATE))) . I decided to give them another chance. And it turned out ok. So it depends on who you get at this location. And I would imagine that would go for any place that cuts hair. I seem to get better cuts and better experience at small MA and PA places .... So keep it local..... And...
