Extensive options. I haven't gotten a chance to fill a growler because the associate on duty said I had to buy a new one since I brought in an empty from another company.
I recommend allowing fills of other clean growlers or allowing exchanges.
2 floors, lots of applicable seating. Was told by nearby customers that you have to use a block of wood to prop the door open to sit on the upstairs outdoor little area because it cannot be reopened from the outside. I recommend resolving this issue with the door please.
Fix these issues and it'll easily be a higher- than-average joint. So great to have this in the brewery district since we (despite the name) don't really have the brewery culture.
Edit: your reply is consistent with what I was told, but is inconsistent with your website's posted policy which states "We will happy accept any āforeignā (non The Daily Growler branded) growlers for exchange, and we swap them out for sanitized chilled Daily Growler growlers."
I was told I had to buy a growler, and that mine could neither be used nor swapped. Update the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe didn't want much out of a wedding reception venue, and this place was on the cheaper side. They didn't offer much outside of a personal bartender(optional) and a HUGE selection of beers and ciders and a few wines. That was perfect. We just needed a place with a bartender, music, and a table to serve the catering on. It had what we want on a budget, and we were assured we could have our music on the speaker system.

Over the next few weeks we curated a 4 hour long wedding playlist, with songs that I asked my friends to contribute to and everything. THE DAY OF, we were told that's not possible because the speaker system is shared between floors and that we would have to bring in our own portable speaker.
The 1st floor of this place seats maybe 16 people, and it was rarely full. But they couldn't accommodate our music, which was all more than appropriate, given what they were already playing.
Otherwise, a good experience, just not quite what...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were out walking around German Village and wanted to chill somewhere for a while. Walked over to the Daily Growler and we each had a flight (6 beers 4-5 oz). They are all mostly from local places with a few from craft breweries outside of Ohio. One being Pumking that I look forward to every fall. šš» Loved each one except a red velvet cupcake beer⦠it was syrupy and I couldnāt do more than a few sips. Derive brewing had an Uncrustables PB&J that was by far my favorite. My husbandās fave was the Rhinegeist Arnold Palmer. We split a bag of pretzels and played uno for a couple hours. Great place to just hang out for...
