I will never order a print job here again. I had created a "book" for my child and wanted it printed on nice paper and spiral bound. I ordered online, chose Landscape orientation (which is how I created the original doc), chose Head-to-Head so the pages would all be right side up, and left side bound so it would open like a book. I placed the order Sunday evening and got a notification on Monday that it was ready. When I went to pick up, the spiral bound was on the top, like a wall calendar, instead of the left. The associate told me the orientation came through differently in their system, so I explained how I wanted it done, and he said it could be fixed for no charge that day or next. I said ok, let's do that. Thursday comes, and I haven't been notified that the order is ready, so I call. I'm told that it hasn't been fixed yet, but they apologize for the delay and will do it as soon as they do one other order. I say ok. Still no notification as of Friday (today), so I call late Friday morning. They told me that they started to fix it Thursday, but a page printed wrong and then "they got swamped" so they were fixing it now, and it'd be done in 30 minutes. I said ok, I'd be over soon. I ran some other errands and arrived 30-45 minutes later. My order had not even been printed yet, so I stood and waited for them to finish it. This time, it was bound on the left, but when I looked at the pages, every other one was upside down. I mentioned this, and the associate just replied, "Yeah, they're all like that. Top to top." Which was clearly not what was printed, and the document was essentially unusable as a book with every other page upside down. The associate offered to reprint it, but I had to get home because my babysitter had to leave, so I just asked for the original print (the calendar-like one) since I could at least use that one, even though it wasn't what I wanted. Fortunately, they still had it and gave it to me. When I had made the calls, they kept apologizing to me on the delay. The delay wasn't a great experience, but the fact that I had to keep following up and still did not get the product as I ordered it is worse. I'm willing to wait for something, but not to have it messed up...
Read moreI was extremely impressed with the service I received at the Copy & Print center. And the price was unbeatable; I didn't believe it at first.
I needed to print 2 copies of my resume, a cover letter to go with each resume, and some professional looking, neatly addressed envelopes to send them in. I had been to 2 FedEx Office Print & Ship Centers (formerly were Kinko's), and an OfficeMax that night. None of them had quite what I needed. I was looking for premium, 100% cotton, 32 lb paper to be laser printed. Some of the stores had the paper for sale, but only in a box of 100 sheets for $18. The main obstacle was trying to get the envelopes printed on since my handwriting is messy. None of them could do that. I had the option of buying labels in large amounts and then they couldn't even print on those for me. So finally, I tried Staples in Dublin.
Here, they DID have the Southworth 100% cotton, white 32 lb paper available for printing one sheet at a time! They also were not set up to print on envelopes. However, the woman at the Copy & Print center printed me up some labels even though they weren't technically supposed to sell them individually. She did what she could to help me, and I really appreciated it. They also did not even have computers available for me to email my files to the print center, although they were getting them soon. But again, the employee I worked with came through here too; she let me use the display laptops on the other side of the store to email the files, at no charge! She even gave me advice about some formatting issues when I asked some questions, and it was also very helpful. Overall, she was simply dedicated to making sure that I got everything done that I needed, even if she had to go out of her way or go above and beyond her job description to do it. And, she was happy to do it, and friendly! When it came time to pay, all of it came to a grand total of ONE DOLLAR EVEN!!! :). I couldn't believe it. Simply amazing service that more than made up for the few things they didn't have or couldn't do. Even regarding those issues, the woman there got it done anyway somehow!
This is how Copy & Print centers SHOULD be run, and this employee...
Read moreDear Staples, I want to thank you for your Print & Marketing employee named Gary, or maybe it was Greg. I honestly don't remember the details of his name but I remember how terrible he made me feel. Here's why...
I visited your Dublin Granville Road, Ohio store at 3:00pm on Friday, August 8th, 2025. I had paid for a rush print order to be picked up at 4pm. My prints (12 pages 100lb cardstock black and white. That's it.) were a "Save the Date" to our neighborhood block party. Not something I necessarily had in my budget but wanted to buy for my neighbors to know about our upcoming event. I had to leave by 3:15 to rush to the other side of town to pick up donations for our school's teachers (I'm on the PTA Board) so I thought I'd go in a little early and see if my prints were available. I was (un)welcomed by "Gary" at the print center. I said I hoped my order was done. And if not if he could help me get it in the next few minutes. He said no, it's not 4pm. I said okay I thought you'd be willing to work with me. He said no. So I requested a refund because I had to leave to pick up the donations. Gary didn't say a word to me but got the paper and printed my order for me.
So....Why am I thanking Gary? Because he reminded me that no matter what, I need to be kind to people. I, the paying customer in this situation, was trying to do good things for the people around me. I was rushing around with what little time that I had to do things for others. And I was really sad that he was so horribly mean. You never know what a person is going through, or why they need that rush order, Gary. Just be kind. Thank you for reminding me to always try to help and be kind.
Gary was extremely unfriendly and displayed terrible customer service skills. He made me feel uncomfortable and frazzled. I will be taking my business...
