Hobby Lobby — Local services in Columbus

Disrespectful service. I was waiting in line behind two customers who were chit chatting away while in line, and a cashier opened up a register and repeatedly called “I can take the next in line”. The two customers didn’t hear the few times the cashier called so I made my way over and the cashier held up her hand and said “I said next in line, you’ll have to wait” meanwhile the two chatting customers were still in the other line. The cashier made me wait while those two finally realized she was talking to them and made their way over. I had two items that would have been scanned and paid for by the time the “next in lineal customers made their way over. Why make another customer wait if the others had no intention moving over or after repeated calls didn’t hear? A third cashier pulled me over to their register where they proceeded to tell me the entire time that the little lamp I was buying wasn’t on sale (that wasn’t the reason I picked it up) and that they would not be able to give me a sale deal (never asked for one). i am very disappointed with this hobby lobby, and this is from an avid crafter. I went here as we were in the area (live 20 minutes away) and they had paint on sale. I stocked up on several items and didn't notice they never applied the discount at checkout. When i got home i noticed and gave them a call. the lady on the phone was very nice and pleasant about it, she made a note to expect me later in the week and told me to just bring in the receipt. I opened and put away all the items i bought thinking i was good to go. I cleared my work calendar for a long lunch to go get this resolved to end up waiting in line for a long time for a cashier to tell me they were wrong on the phone and i needed to bring all the items back in. I am embarrassed and appalled at the treatment I received in the Sawmill Road Dublin Ohio location. I came in to purchase a sewing machine. I have saved for this and I was excited to work on my dress for a wedding. While talking to the bride about the wedding, photographer and details- the associate in the fabric section at 7:45pm interrupted my conversation and told me to finish my phone call in the corner for ‘privacy’. She was loud and angry and pointed to the corner of the store. My conversation was not vulgar or profane. I don’t curse. I was having a relevant conversation in a public place about the large purchase I was making. I see why people shop on the internet- clearly the public is not welcome in this store. Unacceptable.
