This is the worst Home Depot to go to if you are trying to buy appliances. I heard it was Samsung’s warehouse but I’m not sure, I just know I bought my appliance from Home Depot so I expect that Home Depot would make sure that I receive my appliances according to the time frame they give and in good condition. However, recently our stove stopped working so we went to Home Depot in Compton and bought a really nice LG stove in november 2020 but it was back ordered so we had to wait until January to receive. The day comes to get the stove and no one shows up. My moms phone received a call that went straight to voicemail (technology) but when she checked it they said they would wait in front of the house for 15 minutes until someone comes. So my family and I go outside searching through the building to see if it came and there is no truck. My mom then proceeds to call and finds out that they had the wrong address although we have an account with Home Depot and entered our address correctly and Home Depot confirmed our address was correct in their system. Despite acknowledging that it was their fault because the zip code was wrong, they wanted us to wait another month to receive our stove because a zip code change is considered significant and they would have to reprocess our request. In other words they would give our stove we were waiting a whole month for to another customer and we would have to wait an additional month to get a new one. Keep in mind these issues were not our fault. We let it go. Through some good customer service reps at Home Depot we were able to get the stove the next week. We decided not to report anything to consumers because everyone has bad days and we can’t expect Home Depot to be perfect. But then our refrigerator went out recently. Every reasonably priced refrigerator was back ordered. We couldn’t wait that long for a new refrigerator so we bought a more expensive Samsung one as they would be able to get it to us within a week. The week comes and they open the refrigerator and it’s broke. So they have to send it back. So they reschedule for the next week, but they remove our service to have the current broke refrigerator to be removed so my mom has to call them again. Friday comes for us to get our refrigerator and once again the refrigerator is broke. This is ridiculous. I’ve never heard of such horrible service in my entire life. It as if it is deliberate. I’m quite sure Beverly Hills and the fairfax area do not deal with broken refrigerators being sent to their homes but in Compton they give you trash. Read moreI’m renovating my house I purchased $2000 of Insulation through Home depot.com.The insulation was supposed to be dropped off Thursday mind you I payed for delivery since it’s so bulky and I would have to do a lot of trips. I was all day waiting in my house and it never got delivered when my husband got home from work he was in shock that it wasn’t there so he checked online and he saw it was deliver at 11 am. It was never delivered. He called Home Depot.com and the call was dropped twice I don’t know if they clicked or it got dropped. Then since they told him it was coming from Compton he decided to call Compton. They told him they couldn’t do anything because they needed to get a hold of the 3rd party they hire to do deliveries. They said they would return the call in the morning, they never did and my husband had to call and he was going back and forth with them while he was at work .Its 6pm so now I decided to call and when I spoke to a representative they told me it was coming from this store not from the warehouse and they couldn’t get a hold of the manager on duty. They told me to call to the Compton location. Then I called the Compton location and spoke to Elain and said she couldn’t resolve anything since home depot hires a 3 rd party to do their deliveries. I’m losing money I had inspection scheduled and I told her well I still need to purchase the drywall but now I don’t even know if to purchase it from you guys and she responded it’s your decision if you want to buy from us or from someone else. I’m super upset that a manager has a response like that. I don’t know what to do at this point and their advise is just to purchase $2000 more of insulation and wait till the problem gets resolved. Are you kidding me this is Home Depot I would think they would have better customer service and a faster resolution to all of this. Read moreThe customer service a is a myth. July 12, about 7 PM 2022 I waited over ten minutes after someone paged for a associate to assist me to get several items out of the tool cage on isle eight. After waiting for nearly ten minutes, a associate walked down the isle, right past me and another customer and just walked right past us as if we were not even there. A few minutes later. I walked over to customer service and asked to speak to the shift manager, imagine my suprise when I see that he looks just like the associate that walked past me just a few minutes previous. Now he says, "I swear I just saw you on isle eight standing by the tool cage" Wait, it gets better!
Then he took a tone with me and said I should have stopped him when he walked past me. Well I might have, if I was not stunned by his lack of understanding social cues and the earlier page ASKING FOR ASSISTANCE ON ISLE EIGHT.
This was the second time I had to wait for over ten minutes by that same cage at this location. I am planning on buying a large toolbox and several tools to go in it. I will not be buying any of it at...
