Eddie Bauer — Local services in Concord Township

I’ve called the flagship store, I’ve called the highest rated stores in the country. I’ve talked to customer support 5 times, I’ve talked to chat 3 times all in the hopes of getting someone to help me, all those inquiries failed. Today I decided to call my law I local Bauer in a last ditch effort to get someone help in deciding which Parka would be best for me. Thank the Retail gods Patrick answered the phone. Not only did he understand and appreciate my concern for finding the right jacket for me, he was knowledgeable on Eddie Bauer products, went and compared them and overall was the BEST retail customer service I’ve EVER had. I can’t thank him enough for taking the time out of his day to help me, and next time I visit an Eddie Bauer. I’m driving the extra 45 minutes to go to Brinton Lakes because they’re on the top of their game. DO NOT buy anything from Eddie Bauer. My husband bought 2 pairs of jeans for $130. 2 weeks later one pair completely ripped out the back. He is a slim guy and was wearing his correct size. It was an obvious defect. Well guess what…he was told they can’t do anything because it is wear and tear!! After 2 weeks. We buy a lot from this store and online and are rewards members, but it means nothing. Called Eddie Bauer customer service line, same thing. Only they said we can incur shipping charges, send them to their returns dept and it will be at their discretion as to a refund!! I REPEAT do not buy anything from Eddie Bauer. There is nothing in writing that says if you buy the jeans you may not be able to return or even exchange. Now we have only one wearable pair that cost us $130. Eddie Bauer does not care about...

Dreadful experience at Eddie Bauer in Glenn Mills, PA today. Had a simple warranty of a pair of pants that had literally split on me while I was at work by no fault of my own. It was embarrassing and I had to leave work to change. I should also add that I am a slender guy in my 20s. The pants were only about 2 to 2 1/2 years old which is when Eddie Bauer had a lifetime warranty. This location's manager refused to honor that warranty and gave me an extremely hard time. Keep in mind I have bought tons of items from Eddie Bauer and spent thousands. I will never shop at Eddie Bauer again and I hope they retrain their "managers" on the proper way to treat customers!!
