Outback has been my go-to chain for a long time now, but I can't justify giving this particular location any more chances. I was in a few weeks ago and placed an order that included a salad. Our server asked twice if I wanted bread, and I said "yes please" both times. Not only did the bread never come, but the first that came was my steak -- no salad. Making matters worse, the steak was beyond well done and dry despite being ordered medium rare. I honestly didn't even say anything until the server said "Oh, that looks overcooked...is it ok?" At that point, I mentioned that I never got my salad or bread and I agreed that the steak was overcooked but said it was fine. To their credit, they replaced the steak -- and the new one was fantastic. The manager came over and comped the meal despite me saying I wanted to pay for it, so I just left a bigger tip instead.
Decided to give it another chance tonight and placed a pickup order. When I got home and opened the bag, half of the order was missing (and there was again no bread). I called and told the person who answered the phone what happened. She said she was going to transfer me to the manager because she was just the host. Another person gets on the phone and I tell them what happened and he says "hold on, I'm going to transfer you to the manager." Third person gets on and I ask what is going on at this point and explain for a third time what happened. He acknowledged the mistake but said they can't refund an online order so my options were to either drive back and pick up the rest of my order or he could mail out a gift card "within the next few days" if I gave him all of my personal information. At that point, it wasn't even worth it to go through all that because I'd rather just eat the stuff we did get while it was hot. Read moreHello, the reason I gave 5 stars across the board is that everything was great. Service by Alyssa B, was outstanding. She did a remarkable job. Even though she was busy she still attended to her customer to make sure we was alright, Thumbs Up For Alyssa. Her personality ,her smile was on point. Beautiful young lady, keep up the great work Alyssa.. Food wise, from appetizer to main course everything and I do mean everything was good and delicious ...It's the best feeling when you go out and your night was great, Thanks again me and my fiance really had a wonderful afternoon with you guys. So this is what we had, 6 oz filet with shrimp and broccoli, 1 Combo Bloom ChX 5, also we had the endless salad and soup special. Also love the bread that you guys give us... This is a separate situation , while we're there a lady came in with a young man, at the time didn't know that he had special needs.(Autism ). We're are just enjoying ourselves when the young man started making very loud noise , which we thought he was laughing , unfortunately that wasn't the case. His outburst became a little annoying , so without further do. The Manager Tom spoke with the Lady professional, never disrespected her at all. She was extremely upset because he asked her to leave. Tom never stated to any customer the reason why, the lady made sure that we as customers heard her complaint. Yelling oh you putting us out because he has Autism, that's not right. Just going on and on. making it noticeable what was going on. Couple of people had left. Unfortunately Tom the general Manager did what he thought was best for the restaurant as a whole. Again Tom handle the situation professionally. From me observing Tom, I believe he didn't even charge the lady for the food and for the inconvenience to her and the young man. Read moreSo far, we’ve been waiting 30 minutes at the curbside pickup while multiple other cars have come and gone. A woman finally came to ask the name. More waiting ensues. Food could end up being fine, but we will never be back here. Absolutely embarrassing display of customer service by this location. About to put the car seat back and take a nap because there is no urgency to get an order that was supposed to be ready at 7:30 out of the lot even though it is 8PM.
Edit: After receiving the food 35ish minutes past the quoted “ready time,” the food was sorely disappointing. Everything was cold. We paid extra for asparagus as a side, but that was missing. We ordered a dressed baked potato with everything and another with butter, sour cream, and chives. Both came plain. The prime rib was supposed to have the horseradish sauce, but it had au jus. The bloomin’ onion was over cooked, soggy, and cold (delicious, right?). The bread was stone cold. The steak was over cooked, and then we had to microwave it so it was hot. Ended up medium well to well instead of medium rare. And the worst part? The young lady didn’t even offer an apology. Nothing like “sorry for your wait” or anything. Another staff member standing outside was complaining to a friend about customers who were upset that they had to wait past the time the food was supposed to be ready. She actually was annoyed that a customer complained to her and told the friend that she informed the customer that it was not her responsibility to handle a customer’s complaint.
