Burlington — Local services in Concord

The fact that this humongous store will not allow you to use their restroom is beyond ridiculous. Especially when you have a toddler that has autism who is also potty training. There was plenty of staff they could have walked us to the bathroom. There was also no customers in line they were not cashing anybody out. I ended up leaving my heart full of merchandise and going to find a bathroom and I had every intentions on going back and purchasing it and then I changed my mind. I went next door to the tanning salon ask them very very quickly if my son could use their bathroom and before I could even get the full sentence out she said yes the bathroom is out back. We used the bathroom I gave my son some money to tip the girl she did not want to take it however I said no please take it. My son is only 4 years old. Not to mention that when we went into the store today don't have a ton of merchandise like they usually do. Kind of almost looks like they're going to close but I don't think that they are there's no signs but definitely not a ton of merchandise at all. Just walked away from an absolute whirlwind of interaction with a staff member named Dodie (older woman with long white hair). When we got to check out her and another staff member were behind the counter while Dodie checked out the elderly couple ahead of us. Dodie spoke to this staff member, who I would assume was training, in such and unkind and demeaning way causing her to cry and needing to take a break. While walking away that staff member mentioned how she had already been asking to go get water. After that, she interacted with the elderly couple who were having having language barrier issues. Without thought Dodie started using a racist, mocking accent and said "yeah I don't speak any English either," and laughed. After, dodie forcibly took money out of the elderly ladies hand while she was trying to count out change. The entire interaction left me and my partner stunned and appalled by her behavior. I plan on calling first thing tomorrow, as it seems that Dodie was in charge....

Has okay deals for people who are big like 5x or 6x but sometimes the shirts are duplicates of the same which is annoying. Before the pandemic they had all types of shirts for like $4-$6 and now they're all priced from $8-$10 which is crazy. It's not like I'm buying anything designer and it's still that costly. More expensive than Walmart. Kinda contradictory to call yourself a "discount store" when your prices are more than Walmart. Then they have a "clearance/sales rack" (that has more affordable prices) that barely goes past 3-4X. I appreciate that you take notice and support people who are bigger in size, I just wish you'd be what you call yourself a "discount store" and keep your prices inexpensive. Not only Walmart, but there are other apps like Temu or Shein that offer big and tall and are cheaper than this store and most of the time their quality is the same or even better...
