We came on a Saturday night at the end of September. We got right in and sat outside. And then we sat, and sat some more. Ryan the server was very slow to get to us, even though the place was fairly empty. After about 10 minutes, he finally came over for a drink order. Two beers and a Diet Coke took another 10 - 15 minutes. The other servers are hustling, and ours just isn’t. When he came back with the first round, we ordered our food; chicken lips (which is a super weird thing to call chicken tenders), a pastrami sandwich, a black bean soup, and a hamburger with bacon ($2) Swiss cheese ($1) and tatertots (another fee to upgrade). He did not ask me how I wanted my hamburger cooked. Restaurants need to stop offering hamburgers that come with chips. No one wants chips, chips should be the upgrade. Anyway, this is when Ryan tells us a cook called out and the food was going to take a while. Ok fine, we decided to stay. We were offered a free chips and salsa to make up for that, which was nice of them to do. Service continued to be slow. He would come out, check one table, and then leave. I had to flag him down for another beer. Our free chips and salsa came out about an hour into our dinner. They were free so I can’t complain about them, but I wouldn’t order them. My bean soup never came out. My burger luckily was cooked fine, but it was super greasy. It also wasn’t seasoned in the slightest. It didn’t have any mayo, and the food runner left before I could ask for some. It was also missing the bacon I paid $2 for. Ryan did not come back to check on us after we received our food. He only came back to drop off the check. I made sure to check the check. The soup wasn’t on there, but the bacon was. I decided that it would by worth another half hour of sitting there waiting for him to fix the check so I decided to just eat it. I know they were having a bad night with the cook that called out, but the cook has nothing to do with the really bad service we received. Based on today I probably wont be going back.

First experience there last night and the atmosphere was great, lots of customers and wait staff seemed on point. The food was so-so. My steak and cheese wasn’t bad but nothing amazing. The onion rings though… not great. Felt overall old, and fairly cold. Reminded me of how onion rings are when you take them home and have them the next day. My wife ordered a panini off the ā€œspecialsā€ menu but not much ā€œspecialā€ about it. Just a slab of dry chicken between two toasted pieces of bread. Claimed to have basil as a main ingredient but you wouldn’t know if you didn’t happen to see the tiny little pieces. Just a very mundane sandwich thay would have benefited from something to dip it in or SOMETHING to make it ā€œspecial.ā€ The Fries that came with it were good but quantity wasnt a lot compared to the onion rings in my order. For $20ish each, I feel like it could have been better.

This is a fantastic restaurant in the heart of Concord. I have eaten here many times. We have had Christmas parties, retirement gatherings, and also eaten here with my family On all vists, the staff are friendly, get my orders right, answer questions, and provide great service. My favorite is the Thi Chiken salad with a very yummy salad dressing on it. Other favorites of mine are the onion rings, the pulled pork sandwich and they had a spicy chicken. Tbe fish tacos are also excellent with a side of yummy corn chips. There is still more I wish to try on the menu, but I also love stuff I have eaten before. So I get torn between new and old. A pound of steak tips and mashed potatoes on another vist. They also have a great outside eating area. So stop in here, and you will not be disappointed.

Yall-- don't go here.

Everything about this place was completely fine except for this one lady-- no idea who she was but I'm guessing the bar manager.

All I got for a description is black hair, unprofessional and rude.

Thing was, she wasn't even rude to us (the only two guests in the entire downstairs bar), she was rude to her staff. And I mean, pathetically rude.

What happened was we had an awesome server- super sweet and bubbly, she took our orders while we waited on the bartender to come back.

This black haired lady comes down like 15 minutes after we got our drinks and just snaps at the server who'd taken care of us for no reason. It was pretty gross.

Half of me wanted to up and leave, the other half of me wanted to stay to make sure our server got the tip and this lady absolutely did not.

Also, for the record, the black haired lady was not our bartender. Our bartender had glasses and I'm pretty sure she had Coca-Cola t shirt or something. She was OK.

Anyway, after the black haired lady stops speaking to our server like she was an incompetent child (RIGHT in front of us) she somehow had the nerve enough to look at my fiance and I and smile- she said something to us in passing but I missed it. I'm assuming it wasn't anything nice about her employee.

When she left for a while the vibe was actually pretty great. Food was average. Beer was cold.

The music was going in and out but all in all I couldn't complain.

Unfortunately, black haired lady comes back again but this time another server comes down too. The server, probably like an 18 y/o came to the black haired lady with a simple question and got ripped for it.

It was then that we decided enough was enough and asked for the check.

Hate to leave such a bad review but honestly I can't support a business that let's this stuff happen to their staff. Just sad.

Also, my fiance got food poisoning from the sliders....

We showed up last night, Wednesday, at 5:20. We were a party of 4. The place was pretty quiet with only one other table full that we saw. We then waited 10 mins to get our drink orders in, another 10 mins to get our drinks and then we finally got our menus as well. We then ordered our food. The place started to get relatively busy around 6:00. We waited and watched for over an hour as everyone that arrived after us received their food. We tried to flag the waitress down to no avail, so no drink refills, no updates... The waitress didn't come to check on us or acknowledge us until 7:15 when she came to apologize and say our order was somehow deleted. We said we would just cancel everything. She then said she just saw the food coming out and it "will be out in literally one minute".

She also stated "I talked to the manager and he will crediting your bill at least 50% or maybe just taking it all off". I assume it was the manager who then came over and apologized for the wait. I made sure he knew we had been there for 2 hours at that point, and still no food. Our food finally arrived another 15-20 mins later. One order was wrong all together. Another had sweet potato fries that were not completely cooked and also still dripping oil and covered the plate and sandwich bottom in oil. We then still had to ask for utensils and napkins that were never brought. We were all extremely irritated and to the point where we weren't really even hungry anymore. Nobody ate more than a couple bites of their meal before we asked for the check. The check came and we had a 30% discount taken off the food, nothing to drinks. That was, by far, the worst service I have ever received. Needless to say, we will no be returning

  • I contacted the general manager as requested, they chose...
