We visited tonight with another couple. There were 4 in our party. We waited for 10 minutes or so with no greeting. We asked the hostess if she could send our server over. The server came over and was apologetic and said she didn’t know we were there. We had the server on another visit and she was very friendly. She took our drink order, 3 beers from the tap and an iced tea. Drinks arrived 10-15 minutes later and our order was taken and we were asked if we wanted our salads first. We all said yes. Salads all arrived in a timely manner (2 of the salads were delivered to the wrong people but we fixed that ourselves.) We had the salads for two bites at best when three entrees arrived delivered by the manager. I told her that we had asked for salads first and the entrees after. She said she could keep them warm if we wanted. We declined not wanting steaks sitting under lamps. The fourth entree was delivered about 10 minutes after the first three. The salads were delicious! My Caesar salad was top notch. When the server came back to check on us, she apologized for the poor timing of the delivery and said the manager wanted to offer us dessert. We were grateful and thanked her. By the time our salads were finished all entrees were warm at best. Mashed potatoes were a bit cold. The steak tips were tasty. When our entrees were cleared the server asked if we needed a dessert menu or did we know what we’d like. We asked for a menu and ordered the lemon sorbet, 2 cheesecakes and a chocolate cake. Desserts were beautiful plated and delicious. Though once again, 3 desserts were brought out and one arrived 5 minutes later. When the bill was brought we were charged for three of the desserts. When I asked the server to clarify, she said she double checked with the manager and she was only offering one dessert. This was weird. All of our meals were times poorly. It was very nice of them to offer us dessert, but to offer one was quite confusing. The server apologized again for the confusion. All in all, the food was fine, the server was friendly. However there is room for improvement on the timing of meals. They should all be brought out at the same time, making the awkwardness of 3 of 4 waiting for the 4th meal to arrive. Also, if the management want to offer a dessert as a token, then offer it to all or offer two for the table to share. Also, this restaurant takes food allergies very seriously! We had one in our party with a severe allergy. We were asked first by the hostess, then the server, then everything that person ordered was written in red pen. We were very impressed by their dedication to keeping...
Read moreMy mom & I went here the other evening, it was my choice to pick which place to go to since she's been here before with her friend and had a great time, I told her alright let's go, Google called the place and said it isn't too busy. Because every time I am over here going to the craft store, Starbucks or liqueur store this place is always packed, like 99.9% of the time so was shocked that my google device told me they aren't busy. I was on the fence at first because some friends said this place isn't anything different than other places around town just pricier and nothing special. But I feel like those friends were wrong because when we walked into the door, was greeted it felt a warm welcome and happy energy like everyone is excited to be there and so kind, helpful. I was a bit nervous to order the Shrimp Scampi, but I was reassured and I took that risk keeping fingers crossed since my mom has a severe crustaceans allergy. It's so severe she can't even give you a handshake without her having a bad reaction. I avoid eating any crustaceans with her for a few years now but she told me she'd be fine and both trusted this place. 110 Grill is the place to TRUST! I was so shocked to see a restaurant that goes above and beyond for food allergies and the staff were awesome too! Special shoutout to the server we had whose name is Chantelle (I had to ask again because I forget when they introduce themselves and ask us for drinks, etc. I have to remember so much and that part I forget but hopefully I spelled her name right!) She was AMAZING! She was so caring, and super friendly. Now I am going to say this because working in the food industry myself sometimes people don't know how severe an allergy is but Chantelle made sure after she brought my plate of Shrimp Scampi that she went real quick and washed her hands before giving my mom a steak knife. How many servers thinks to do that? Not many, so a round of applause for her being so careful. I will be eating here again and I'd reccomend it to anyone who is always afraid on eating out and getting cross contamination somewhere that this place takes off the worries or even wants great food service. They make you feel like you are their guest in their own house. This place doesn't feel like it's just a place that wants your money, and that they actually take pride in their business. The food was good and full of flavor, service was excellent. Oh and that "Tuxedo" cake with whipped cream we took to go that our server informed us about was, DELISH! I'd order that again but with no berries I felt like it didn't really need it other than to give some color...
Read moreI’ve gone to 110 Grill many times due to their great food and exceptional service, so I was happy when they opened a new location in Concord, NH, given its very close proximity to my house. Unfortunately, when I recently placed an online takeout order there for a 6:00 p.m. pickup, I was shocked that when I got to the restaurant, the two hostesses did not even bother checking on my order for which it was already paid. I had to tell them twice to retrieve it, plus make eye contact afterward, for them to finally receive the message.
When the two ladies went to get my order, they had to track down the manager for him to open the cabinet where they store the takeout orders ready for pick-up with a key, only to find out that the food hadn’t been prepared whatsoever. Thus, I got to spend even more unnecessary time waiting for the food to actually be made when that process should’ve been done when I was driving there several minutes ago. All in all, I spent a half hour in the establishment just to obtain a takeout order that should’ve been ready when I got there in the first place and the person at the front should’ve been able to walk a few steps to bring out the order in an efficient manner.
The fun did not stop there, as I got home to find out that my chicken cordon bleu sandwich was fried when it should’ve been grilled and that my mother’s salmon was dry and overdone (complete opposite of the requested medium rare) and her broccoli was barely cooked. I then called the manager to explain the situation, and he said to send him a screenshot of my online order receipt via email, upon which a refund would be issued. That refund was never given, so I had to go through the trouble of calling my credit card company to dispute the nearly $50 charge to actually get a refund.
The worst part about this experience is that I’ve had problems before at this location with other takeout order mishaps, so I will be taking my business elsewhere and sticking with 110 Grill locations where I know for certain that no problems anywhere remotely close to this one will happen in the future. If you want to go to a place with good food and efficient service, please heed my advice and do not go to 110 Grill in...
