HTC is by far the worst cable/internet company Iāve ever had! I had 3 service outages in 1 month before. Which I work at home and it causes me to lose a lot of money. Not to mention I got disciplinary action taken against me at work for missing those days. Contacted HTC and it took forever for a manager to reach out. When the manager did reach out they offered me a $30 dollar credit. Iāve missed out on waaaay more money but I accepted as I had no choice. Was told it couldnāt be applied to that current bill but the next months bill. Called in this morning, and the calculations didnāt add up. After the rep did an investigation, she said in the notes it said $25 dollar credit. If anyone could go back to that call, that manager clearly told me $30. $5 is no big deal, itās the fact that theyāre trying to get over ONCE AGAIN! I already had a bad experience and now yāall are making it an even more worst of an experience because it made me look like I was lying. I hate this company with a passion! Then when I called back for another long wait time I'm told THAT NO TECHS ARE COMING and that my service will be restored as soon as I make an appointment. Not for today, just agree to make an appointment. The customer service rep literally said that if I didnt make an appointment they would not restore my service. They can arbitrarily turn your service on and off to suit their agenda. What's that called, extortion?

After calling and being on hold for normally a MINIMUM of 30 mins they say ā itās running fine on our endā or ā sorry we canāt guarantee WiFi speeds. ( Iām getting 50mps out of my 300) then when you call and express how you just want what you pay for they just say yes we understand and if you say anything about canceling they donāt care! They just say ok.
Simply put they will charge you whatever you are willing to pay and get what they decide to give you and if you donāt like it you are not valuable to then because they know there is not much competition in horry. Sad they canāt just give people what they pay for or act...
