My boyfriend and I came here for the first time tonight. The waitress, Kylie (sp?) was very nice and the food was very good. However, I was disappointed in a few things. The hostess, a young lady with dark hair, tried to seat us in the first booth by the door. I asked to be seated away from the door since it was cold and rainy outside; she stated that she didn't have any booths on the other side. I told her that was fine, since we didn't ask for a booth. She didn't ask which we preferred. Then she puts the menus on the second booth from the door. I stated that we do not want to sit by the door, she walked off, snapping over her shoulder "sit wherever you want!" We just sat at the farthest booth and every time the door opened, cold air blew in. The bathrooms were filthy. Halfway through our dinner, the fire alarm went off. I know that the staff couldn't control that, but it went on forever. My boyfriend asked the staff if it could be turned off, someone responded that "We have the key to turn it off but the fire marshal doesn't like it!" We begged them to turn it off or at least bring us the check quickly as I was getting sick from the noise. The hostess apparently thought that was hilarious. Several members of the staff were laughing at the alarm; I didn't find it remotely funny. No discount was offered for our meal being ruined. All in all, the waitress was great but it was...
Read moreWent here for the 1st time on Friday March 14th 2025 with my parents and Uncle. it is a cute little pizza shop/ italian restaurant with a bunch of food options like seafood, Chicken, pasta dishes, and of course, Pizza! We walked in, and was greeted by a host, who sat us in a booth. One good thing about this place is that it has both booths and chairs. One can dine in, or I saw a sign in which it says that they deliver depending on the closeness of the location. In the future, that's a thought for us. A server greeted us right away, and we started with 4 waters. We also started with fried Zucchini Sticks as an appetizer. They were very enjoyable. After looking over the menu, we were ready to order we ordered a large veggie pizza, 1/2 with mushrooms, eggplant parm, pasta ala rotelli's, and I had the shrimp Scampi. All food came out in a timely manner, and our server Jess was very nice and pleasant. She also made sure to check on us to make sure we were happy. We all enjoyed our food, and I very much enjoyed the pizza, and I'm from NY, so we have "standards" with our pizza! My mom got a box for her leftover pasta ala rotelli's and said she would have it again. i enjoyed my shrimp scampi, and it was made with more of an afredo sauce, and that probably made it seem delicious! We paid the check via a credit card, and left a cash tip. Will definitely be back to try this...
Read moreI actually worked here over 10 years ago now, and since then, I have traveled and lived coast to coast and finally settled down in Austin, TX. I am a very tough critic when it comes to the service industry, and I look for things many might overlook. Restaurant location, interior cleanliness, employee handwashing. The handling of cash and food and in between handwashing. The bathrooms, the floors, the service, the friendliness of service, the management, and the presentation of food along with the taste and quality of menu items being served.
I give this particular location 5 stars. In a benchpress comparison of all the Italian eatery restaurants I've been to in the lower 48 states, this particular rotellis stands out among some of the best Italian restaurants among its class. Having an owner pour their heart and soul into their business and put in 60 hour work weeks for 10 plus years who goes out their way to ensure satisfaction and does whatever they can to accommodate a less than satisfied customer, should speak volumes alone. I have nothing negative to say about this restaurant.
Good prices, great food, amazing service. AWESOME...
