1st time at this new location.. unexpectedly horrible. I was so excited to have one open up in my neck of the woods, but I'm sorely disappointed 😞 I thought Chipotle had better training and quality standards across the board than THIS. Staff was very unfriendly. Every table (inside and out!) and every square inch of glass was filthy even though there were like 5 or 6 employees standing around and it was dead at the time. Don't know how to explain it better, but literally every ingredient tasted.. not right. Mostly very bland, but the seasoning I could taste on the chicken just didn't taste anything like Chipotle, and the pieces of chicken were cut HUGE, way too big. Rice was somehow mushy/pasty on the outside, yet hard on the inside. I couldn't even taste my queso. Lettuce was gross. My mom had to spit out gristle from her steak every 3 bites. Worst burrito I've ever had anywhere, truly. I've never had a bad experience at the Myrtle Beach location, I absolutely LOVE Chipotle. This tasted like it came from an imposter/knock of version or something lol I was so unsatisfied and let down, I went to the Myrtle beach location the next day to get my fix and it was FANTASTIC, as always. After we mentioned how bad the other location was, the manager was nice enough to comp my mom and I's burritos to make up for our...
Read moreAbsolutely pitiful in terms of how the product and service is delivered to the consumer. Do you want chips? Chicken? Steak? Guac? Lettuce? Sour cream? You have better odds flipping a coin. Don’t even get me started on vinaigrette. My wife and I are locals. I should own stock in this location I have eaten here so often. When it’s good, it’s great.
Unfortunately, it’s disappointing so much more often than it’s good. The results are always volatile but are particularly so after 7 PM. If you are consistently and routinely out of the items I mentioned above after 7 PM as a restaurant open until 11 PM, you don’t have a supply chain problem, you have a staffing and efficiency problem. More simply put, you have people not doing their job and carrying out the duties they signed for in their work agreement. This type of behavior is damaging to the overall integrity and credibility of the company.
Between this concerns listed above as well as the store actually closing more times than I have fingers and toes during normal operating hours to simply prep items that should have been prepared in the morning, I can confidently say this store needs serious attention and would benefit from a hiatus until the problems plaguing it can...
Read moreWent here for the 1st time at this location on Wednesday March 26th 2025 with my mom to get a much needed dinner. We actually have a chipotle where we reside, and we enjoy it as it is mexican without necessarily having to sit down at a mexican restaurant to enjoy it. Anyways, we parked, and immediately went inside. Inside it is very big and has a bunch of high tables, tables, and booths to sit down and have your meal if you want. We then went over to the food counter, and decided our order. We did let people go in front of us, as we had to decide what we wanted. Finally, we decided, I had a bowl with Sofritas (Vegan Protein) with white rice, black beans, lettuce, corn and onion mix, salsa, and Guacamole. They didn't tell us this but Guacamole is $3.00. Other than that person who made the sandwich, and cashier at the counter was pleasant. My mom ordered a bowl also, with chicken, brown rice, cheese, corn and onion mix, black beans, fresh salsa and lettuce. cost was $25.00 total for 2 items. We took it out, and ate the food at home. Didn't experience the portion problem others mentioned, and ours seemed like a decent portion. I very much enjoyed the food, as well as my mom. We will definitely be back if we are...
