I would give a Kohl's company review 5 stars because I shop Kohl's and have always been pleased with the quality and pricing. This location, two stars. When I pulled out my military ID I was told Kohl's did not give military discounts. I asked if that was recent as I shopped at Kohl's a week ago and she said Kohl's had never given a military discount. I told her I always received a military discount at Kohl's, it was my go-to place for shopping, and she said I was mistaking it for someplace else. Sorry, I know where I shop. I do shop at Kohl's near where I live but, I was visiting my daughter, so I came to the one in Conway. It's not that your store chooses not to give a military discount, totally your right, but to tell a customer that she never gets a discount at Kohl's and is confused about where she shops made me feel belittled, definitely not valued as a customer. So, truthfully, I have never received a military discount at Kohl's in Conway but the Kohl's where I normally shop (and yes, more than one) always do. So, although we recently purchased a house in Conway to visit our grandson more conveniently, I will purchase his gifts and clothing at my local stores before driving down. Not because of the discount, but because of the unwelcoming attitude I felt two weeks ago at this location (which had nothing to do with a discount) and again today - different sales associates each time so I attribute that to a...
Read moreNormally a great place to shop. Today was not so great. The lady at the register was not very friendly or helpful at all. Went in looking for some shirts advertised on kohls app. When we asked her if she knew where we could find them she pointed and said "back there in dress shirts". I thought to myself oh thanks I thought there would be in the shoe department. So we went back and continued to look for them and finally found them. They were Croft and Barrow dress shirts advertised for $11.99. We found them on a rack in center aisle with a sign showing they were $9.99. When we went to check out I had an email with $10 kohls cash, and a coupon showing $10 off when spending $50, and also coupon showing 30% off when using kohls charge which we were using. The same friendly lady told us that there was no 30% off for using kohls charge. Also 2 of the 4 shirts rang up as $11.99 and 2 at $9.99. The shirts were all the same off the same rack. When we asked her about it she said " I dont know". Needless to say this did not make me very happy. If there is no 30% off coupon then why did kohls send it to me in the mail??? Also the kohls app shows 10% off purchases in store or online with a code for fathers day. If these offers are not valid then why the heck are they advertised?? And why are they sent out in the mail as well as in emails? After today's experience I am not very...
Read moreReceived a discount coupon in the mail, which led me to Kohl's. Went to buy a pair of shoes for my son. No where on the coupon does it say you can't get the 20% discount on name brand shoes. I asked the guy in the shoe department if the coupon had any restrictions and showed him the coupon. His response, "uhh, I not really sure, but they'll tell you when you try to checkout." Ok, cool so it's like a game show. Show the coupon and hope it works at the checkout. We pick out some shoes and proceed to the checkout. The guy in front of me trys to use his coupon on razorback gear. Guess what happens? They tell him his coupon cant be used on razorback gear. When told he can't use the coupon, the guy in front on me says, "you're discounts are basically worthless because everything is an exception!" And here's where Kohl's master plan takes effect! The guy still bought the razorback gear sans discount. So get up to the counter and roll the proverbial "dice" for the discount and the manger tells out snake eyes! No discount for you! So I agree with the guy and echo his worthless discount statement and walk out. If you dont want discounts continue to shop here, but dont think you'll ever get to use...
