Probably one of the worst experiences I've had at a Michael's. Went to check out, there was one couple in front of me, and another associate that wasn't behind a register yelled out that I could go to a self checkout. I didn't want to, because I had a question about one of the deals, but after she mean mugged me for a bit I moved over to a self checkout. No one was behind me, they weren't very busy. She and the other associate then walk off, while I'm trying to work my way through the self checkout. After a few minutes my worst fear happens, and my item didn't ring up like I thought, so I hit the assistance button. She is standing at the far end of the aisle, and I can feel her staring at me, but she doesn't move. After a minute she finally comes over and says "Is something the problem?" with a tone that is almost daring me to say yes. Yes, I say, I thought the item was supposed to be half off, or 40%, I couldn't remember which, but it wasn't supposed to be full price. She radios and confirms that it part of the buy one get one half off deal, to which I frustratingly sigh and say "Lovely.." and continue scanning while she continues to stare at me and say nothing else. None of those signs said it was a BOGO, or I wouldn't have picked it up. I can read, I can tell the difference. She then walks off to go play on her phone with zero awareness. There was no warmth, no help, no actual customer service, just the absolute bare minimum. And I've worked in service most of my life. I get it. I also just spent like $100 and most of it felt like it was overpriced and could have gotten a deal online. I like going in stores and looking at gifts for family or finding inspiration in crafts. I noticed that I wasn't charged and hadn't received anymore emails since 11/22 when I was told my order was being processed. I know the next day was a holiday so I expected a SMALL delay, but by the next Tuesday I still hasn't been charged or recieved any updates about my order. I even tried to track my order by the order number, and it wouldn't work. I emailed customer service but didn't get a response, but did get an email the next day saying my order has shipped. Estimates delivery was for Saturday. I kept tracking shipping for the rest of the week. Nothing had changed. Finally Saturday morning I'm checking to see if my order is ready to pick up, and estimated deliver is now next Thursday Dec. 7. Really unhappy that I was charged a week after I made the order, and my order won't be here til 2 weeks after. I could have gone to the store and made a purchase for the color I didn't want, and been more satisfied had I known this would happen. Conway store specifically is great but my online experience...

It's not my kind of place, honestly, but I'm not crafty like that. The layout was nice and easy to move through. The staff were pleasant and seemed to be helpful with other customers.
