Went inside the restaurant, first sat in a booth then switched to counter entire time wearing a N95 mask and ear buds. Told Waitress my order twice, she rolled her eyes then she came back with water, then returned with coffee and threw the Splenda sugar packets on the counter. Took two pills drank water and anticipated my food which never happened. I asked to have another waitress handle my order. The second waitress said I had to move to a booth. The manager, Jake Hudson tried to defend these disrespectful and humiliating actions that the waitress was young, and also refused to cook my steak. He took off his clothes and I asked him who his supervisor was, he said corporate then threatened to call police to for being disorderly when he in fact was disorderly and to issue me a criminal trespass when I was already leaving the restaurant. There were five black women in medical scrubs with N95 masks on five employees behind the counter and six people sitting down and this is on film. I called the store ten minutes later to get the correct name and address for the employees. Jake Hudson is a young white male who admitted that my experience was disrespectful and humiliating but continued to re-enforce to call police when I had already left the restaurant. This occurred at 1610 GA-20 Conyers GA 30014. As a 55 year old black and retired 25 year retired police professional this was total humiliation and possibly racist. Ramone District manager called me around September 6, 2022, 1018hrs in reference to the above issue, apologized for the other manager which was empty and insecure. Then tried to send me a $75 gift card which I never received. This places should boycotted.* We need the Ben Crump law firm to investigate for a class...
Read moreI went in here 2 days ago and got pork chop and egg plates. I noticed The Cook named Danielle was making a Grit Bowl for someone. It appreciated. so good I asked for one as well. She made sure I understood that it was a separate item, not my normal grits that come with the meal which I appreciated. I noticed that not only was this young lady cooking, she was very meticulous and she was very clean and careful about how she prepared the food. I also noticed how patiently she was helping and explaining things to the server whom I believe was new. The food was not only really good but THE GRITS! ❤️ I couldn't believe how smooth and creamy the grits were. They were not too watery or gritty but very well prepared. Not only did I eat one meal, but heated up the other one the next day and even the next day those grits were good. This lady was different from other Waffle House cooks I've seen. You certainly want to eat there on the afternoons when this lady is cooking. I'm certainly going to return. Thank...
Read moreI worked at this location very temporarily. Certain employees kept quitting back to back recently and I understand why. They have poor management and poor training here and the trainer is a manager wannabe 🙄. The manager obviously doesn't keep their word to employees because if you tell people that they can work on a holiday commitment (contract) free why tell a former employee who voluntarily quit that they can't come back to work whenever they feel like it? 🤔 It's literally for only ONE day and commitment free so the fact that an employee quit should have nothing to do with it. Commitment free means commitment free 🤷🏽♀️. Either keep your word or don't say anything at all.
Also, I still haven't received my paper check that I didn't ask for. If employees signed up for DD and got their previous checks via DD then why give them their final check a paper check? This location needs to work on having better communication and not come off as...
