My husband bought a yoga nidra salt therapy session for me. I was really excited to try this place out. It took me a while to find the place so i called and the front desk girl was very nice and helpful with directions. There were 6 reclining chairs in the salt room I sat right next to the vent where the salt comes out because the family of 5 chose their seats first. I was ok with sitting by the vent though, it was loud and distracting when you're trying to listen to the instructor, amy. She did mention if her voice is too soft to let her know to talk louder but what I wanted to tune into was the sound bowl and less talking I understand she takes you through different phases of meditation which was nice and I've never experienced it before. The sound bowl was nice but the whole time I thought she had it recorded and played from her phone it was a light sound and wish it could've been a stronger sound or alternating it. In the end of the session one of the ladies in the family of 5 was playing with the sound bowl and amy showed them the different sound variations she made and that was the sound I wanted to hear in session I thought to myself why didn't she make that deeper sound in session? Amy goes around the room to ask everyone what they've experienced in their session I chose not to share because its personal to me. Amy thought I was part of the family of 5 from the beginning of the session to the end and asked one of the ladies if i was her daughter. I didn't know how to take that at first but it rubbed me the wrong way. One of the ladies in the group spoke up and said we are a family of five. Amy shouldn't have assumed I was part of the family of five instead ask from the beginning of the session if we are grouped together or separate so other people wont feel awkward or uncomfortable. All in all it was a...
Read moreI wanted to write this review to encourage people who want to help their respiratory, immune and nervous systems to feel improvement. I have been a medical practitioner for many years , and I am so impressed by this special modality. I feel so grateful each day when I go to the Salt Room and my lungs feel free to breathe easily, my sinus opens and I feel so relaxed. It's just incredible. I initially went to see if I could have any relief from a bronchiectasis flare up and in that first session my lungs just felt so happy and relieved. Over the next few days at home at night my lungs were able to release what hadn't been possible before. I appreciate that there is a monthly membership which is so affordable. The Salt Room is maintained by the nicest people and it's immaculate. The Salt Room is a gift, and a great one to...
Read moreI've heard about salt rooms for years but never took the time to experience the benefits of one. My first visit was during a very stressful time in my life as my mother was in hospice. I'm glad I made the decision to give it a try. The salt room coral springs helped me to shed a load of weight I was carrying. The environment is extremely peaceful. I have since made it a habit to come on a regular basis as a form of self care. Joël the manager is welcoming and puts you at ease as he preps you for your session, he makes you feel as if you have always known him. For a friendly environment in our hectic town this is the place to get away. I highly recommend coming in and replenishing your...
