Arrived on 4/16/24 at around 12:55pm to 1pm. The RUDE guy REFUSED TO MOVE THE CART A LITTLE CLOSER So I could empty contents in my bags into the cart ( I needed to keep my bags). I ASKED HIM TO MOVE the CART CLOSER, he said “I NEED TO HOLD IT DUE TO the wind”, then he pulled the cart inside beyond the slider doors as I was trying to still unload and fight the wind (which blew 2 bags away after I finally emptied them and trying to put them in the car .)
He then let go of the cart once inside and he just then disappeared - he went inside the bldg beyond where the slider doors are and did so before I had everything out of my SUV and into the cart!
The guy never said thank you, never asked if he could help in any way, never helped at all, never offered a receipt. Just disappeared!
I hope Goodwill has a camera and mic! This guy needs to be FIRED OR retrained and shadowed!
Im not an older person but I can’t imagine someone older than me having to experience this guy!
I will NOT GO BACK to this Goodwill!
I will be donating my good stuff (I don’t donate junk) to RED CROSS as they will do home pick up! Which is what I should have done this time - I was just wanting to the get the bags of stuff gone and out of the way!
One light bulb did break because he pulled the cart inside and an item I was carrying from the car inside the slider doors dropped inside the cart breaking the bulb!
This guy ruins the reputation Goodwill has providing employment opportunities for people with life challenges/ disabilities! He should not be working with the public unless shadowed and retrained on how to be respectful...
Read moreI have been going there for years and in the last year there has been a decline in the way I have been treated. I am always polite and respectful when I shop there and I have not received the same from the staff. They have been very rude and almost accusing twords me. On one of my visits recently I went into the changing room to try on jeans and when I was up at the register paying for my items I heard one staff member (very loudly and obviously wanting me to hear) say that she was disgusted that I had tried on so many at the end of the night, how rude it was for me to do so and thst she would now have to put them back. Ummm isn't the point of a retail shop? Many times I have been treated like a theif, when I have done nothing wrong and certainly never taken anything without paying. They follow me all around and make me uncomfortable and act snotty to me when I check out. I even started leaving my purse unzipped when I came out of the changing room so they would see that I wasn't doing anything but trying clothes on. I won't even shop there anymore. Which believe me Is a loss because I went two or three times a week and spent alot of money there. I'm truly horrified by the way the staff have acted twords me and it reaches as far as the management. I drive all the way to IC and sometimes Cr to shop at Goodwill now. I'm really sad about it....
Read moreI usually love this store but after being yelled at by an older lady who is an employee there with short hair and wears glasses I don’t think we will Be back for a while. She was putting things away in a Rolling cart I just looked in the cart didn’t touch anything and she proceeded to yell at me can I help you with something in a very rude tone and she was behind me and I did not realize that she was talking to me and then she said excuse me and said the same thing again in a worse tone. I asked her she was talking to me and she said yes she was very rude had no manners no professionalism and I don’t think will be going back I was so embarrassed and so humiliated I’ve never been treated like that we go there all the time the whole store software they were doing and turned to look at who she was talking to she definitely needs some training I told the manager about it and she kind of brushed it off so I’m guessing this happens a lot I talk to another employee about it and she said that she was very rude but there was nothing they could do about it I had to talk...
