This Coralville Iowa location needs better help and has Terrible customer service! I ordered at the drive thru a cookie dough concrete mixer and it was not even close to being done right! This was at 3:15pm on 1/30/22 The mixer should at least have something else in it besides just custard with No cookie dough! I came back to the drive thru and explained kindly and specifically why I was Not happy with the mixer! I also stated I wanted a new mixer made again! The team lead girl was terrible at her job because she told me that this Coralville location does not replace items if a customer is not happy! Well since she REFUSED to help me and could not do anything else nor her job I said I wanted to talk to her manager on duty and not her! She also refused to go get the REAL manager ! So I said I’m never coming back to this restaurant and for her to give me my money back in which she had to go ask the other person In the back if she could do so!?! Really ?? She’s yelling at me because she’s not even sure if she can give me MY money back to me!!!! I also explained to her that customer service is to be of service to the customer not to be pleasing the employee (her) When a customer is not happy whether it be a food , beverage or custard item they should be able to have it replaced! I know that other Culvers locations do not treat their customers this way ! I’ve been in Customer Service a long time and I do know this is not how you keep good customers and have customers keep returning! Read moreThey have never gotten a food order right! Never! No kidding! Steak and Shake, when there burgers were Angus beef, were far better than Culvers greasy mess of a burger! On 2/13/24 I went thru drive thru & ordered 3 separate orders. The problem starts when ordering- never got it right.
One of the 3 orders was 20.00 + alone! It was simple, 4 pieces of cod- FISH ONLY! They argued and told me I could only order 3 pieces.
The double burger meal was cold, fries were cold,. I ordered it with no lettuce, but to add pickle onion tomatoe, mustard and ketup. One side of the bun was completely dry, but greasy and the onion was the size of a nickel.
The 3rd order was a fish sandwich with coleslaw ( no drink) and it was apparently ok.
But, no napkins in the 4 sacks, no fork, no tarter sauce ( I asked for some).
The order was messed up. I Paid at window and never told how much or given a receipt. I pulled forward. Then, Staff came out to my vehicle and asked if I had more than one order. I said yes. Then he explained that they only collected for one of the three orders when I paid at the window so I handed him my card again to pay for the other two.
Quit saying you want to do things better because it’s obvious NOTHING IS CHANGING! Be there! Work along side your workers! Be there! Give good service and take care of your customers. It only takes one or two times with poor service and food and then we quit coming!
I quit! Never again! I will make my own burgers at home before spending another dime...
Read moreWe had a terrible experience with the manager at Culver’s today afternoon. We like Culver’s and never experienced anything like this before. Our family stopped at around 3:30 for a late lunch. We were waiting for our order at the table and the staff brought our order based on the number we got which matched what was on receipt. But they actually gave us the wrong order. It was almost the same number of items we ordered and the same sauces except for one item that was missing. We started having the food and later realised that there has been a order mixup. We informed a staff about this and she said she’ll check with their manager and give our correct order. Later the manager comes and looks at the food we ate, points at it and says ‘You are eating someone else’s order and we can’t give you another order as per our policy’. Then she turns around and apologises the other family who didn’t get the order and treats us as if we stole someone’s order. She didn’t have the courtesy to apologise for the order mix up that their staff made and treats us very badly.
