I finally got to experience Flow Head Spa, and let me just say—it was worth every moment.
I originally booked because I was curious about the whole head spa concept. I’ve dealt with seborrheic dermatitis and a generally fussy scalp for years, so I was also hoping this would be both a treat and a bit of a reset. I'd actually been to Flow before during their grand opening and was struck by the calm, neutral tones and how beautifully the space was designed. From the plush seating area to the intentional hardware and cabinetry finishes, it’s clear every detail was thoughtfully curated. And spotless—like spa spotless.
I booked the 60-minute “Essential Flow” treatment. From the moment I slipped into the robe, wrap, and slippers, I knew this was going to be more than a scalp massage. The treatment table was warmed, which made lying flat incredibly relaxing. My therapist, Monasia "Mo", started with aromatherapy and guided breathing—within minutes, I was already melting into the experience. As she gently exfoliated and massaged my scalp under the soothing sound of the continuous water halo, I legit felt like I was floating. At one point I thought, Am I at the beach? Nope, still here... but wow.
Mo was not only kind and professional, but she also made me feel totally at ease with my scalp condition. No awkwardness, no judgment—just care. And major bonus points: she knows how to work with coily, type 4 hair. That gave me even more confidence in the process. I requested flat twists as my final styling. The products that were available for my texture really impressed me (My twist out turned out so defined!).
Afterward, I felt so refreshed. Monasia showed me before-and-after photos of my scalp with a microscopic camera (which was oddly satisfying). And before I left, I was offered water, tea, Prosecco, and snacks while I lounged in the plushest waiting area ever.
I’ll definitely be going back—and adding Flow into my post-protective style self-care routine. If you’ve been thinking about it, don’t...

The atmosphere was so calming and surreal, with a sophisticated and high-end aesthetic that immediately puts you at ease. I instantly felt like I was the only person there. The receptionist was incredibly kind and made sure I felt comfortable. Since I had never been to a head spa before, I appreciated how she guided me through the process, so I never felt lost.
Even before my session began, I was already feeling relaxed and excited. When my therapist greeted me, they explained everything thoroughly, which put me at ease.
One unique aspect of the experience was their detailed scalp analysis. They used a special tool to examine my scalp and explain what was going on in a way that was both informative and easy to understand. It gave me valuable insights into my scalp’s health, which I had never considered before.
As soon as I laid down on the table, the magic began. The experience was unbelievable—the scalp massage, along with the soothing massages on my hands and shoulders, melted all the tension away. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and I felt completely rejuvenated.
Flow Head Spa is more than just a spa—it’s a sanctuary. It’s the kind of place you’d want to make your go-to spot for stress relief or me time. For me, it’s not just a one-time visit; I’d absolutely include it as part of my monthly self-care routine.
I can’t recommend this place enough! It’s hands-down the best in the area for relaxation and...
Read moreThis was my first time going to a headspa. I got the 90 minute service with a blow out added by the very blessed hands of their spa therapist Monasia. She did a scalp consultation with a microscopic camera, a scalp detox, a steamed hair treatment, a scalp scrub, wash and conditioner of course with a scalp rinse and so on. I could tell the products used were very high quality and smelled amazing. I have a very thick kinky curly afro but she did such a thorough but efficient job and finished with a beautiful blow out, I left feeling like I have a new scalp! Seriously! She gave me a neck, shoulder, chest, and a hand and foot massage with hot towel, on a heated bed with a weighted blanket, it was truly everything you could dream of. She talked me through what she’d be doing and made sure I was comfortable throughout the service which, might I add, is almost impossible not to be with the atmosphere of the whole establishment. It was so calming and relaxing. Everyone I seen or spoke to were very welcoming and Tabatha specifically was very attentive my whole stay. I was offered water, snacks, and mimosas throughout the service to ensure I was receiving the best experience possible and it was very refreshing to see the staff not only check on me but her as well. I highly recommend to anyone of any hair type that is interested to book a service, I honestly can’t think of anything that could have made my experience better. I will...
