Recently have been most disappointed in Hollywood Feeds corporate decision to not allow your store owners to receive and carry Grandma Lucy’s Artisan freeze dried dog food. I’ve been buying it from there for almost 2 years. We have a local Holistic Vet that is huge that has Grandma Lucy’s on their recommended list. We have seen so many wonderful transformations in my Labradors since we switched. One them no longer has acid reflux. The other lost weight. I understand that corporate has decided to not allowed your stores to order Grandma Lucy’s because it’s not a 25% profit margin instead it’s a 20% profit margin. Shame on corporate for completely ignoring the health of our animals over profit. I purchase all food, treats, leashes, harnesses, dog beds, etc from my Cornelius Hollywood Feed. Now I will have to move it all to our other store that carries Grandma Lucy’s which is Dog Supplies Wearhouse. I don’t have time to stop at our Hollywood Feed location to see if corporate allowed that store owner to receive any Grandma Lucy’s food anymore. They got a lousy 2 bags yesterday and only one kind, corporate forgot to allowed the other flavor. I’m over it. God bless that store owner as he’s tried his hardest to deal with corporate who don’t deal with...
Read moreI came in to find a selection of wet food not normally found at your basic grocery store. I was delighted to find an entire wall of exceptional choices. I have three cats, one being overweight, one with digestive issues, and another that is a picky eater. The staff, Cat, and the other younger girl with long hair (I feel awful I forget the name of) were amazing and walked me through options. The other staff member even broke down the math on how much I should feed my cats and reassured my anxieties over my cat that’s been throwing up. Upon getting home I tested the free sample of freeze dried food and everyone was obsessed. The following morning I tested the bag of food I got and they were equally as obsessed, not complaining as much about having less food like I expected (decided upon the calculations with the second staff member). I will be 100% returning to purchase more products. Happy...
Read moreWaited one hour on a Tuesday evening from 6:30-7:30 to get my 7 month old cats nails clipped. The lady who grooms the pets takes my cat to the back for approximately 2 minutes and then tells me that my cat won’t sit still and she can’t cut her nails. Now I waited an hour for this and the woman whose job it is to groom pets can’t even cut my 6lb cats claws. If your job is to groom pets and you can’t even cut a cats nails then how tf do you have a job. I would recommend pet people to you if you want to wait an hour for the groomer lady to tell you “sorry” for the hour you just wasted and that she couldn’t handle your 6lb infant cat well enough to the point where she could cut her nails. So if you want your pet to be handled by an incompetent amateur then I suggest you bringing them to...
